Very unfriendly waitress. Which especially sucks when you are with kids. No smiles or sense of connection: cold. Felt like she was more interested in pushing us to order more food & Bev than our experience. Food was good but I have to say portions were very small for price. One beer available for $12? Would be reluctant to come back here.

Amazing flavors, special combinations - really outstanding. Compliments to the chef. The service was excellent, thank you to our server for a wonderful experience. We dined in the outdoor garden, which was lovely. The dining room was beautiful, we look forward to coming back.

some of the food was terrific, some a bit disappointing but overall a good experience and i'll be back. we loved the peppers and the sprats from the apps. From the mains etc we loved the chicken thighs. The kasha was a bit boring, and the stuffed cabbage was good but mostly rice. The verenekas were good but very rich. Drinks were fun. Pretty room. Good service.

Very good. They kindly explained the many Ukrainian terms and preparations. Excellent and very unusual cocktails.

Special place with delicious upscale Ukrainian food with beautiful presentation. Lovely decor with wood accents. Professional, but personable service. The cocktails and infusions perfectly complimented the food. I was skeptical about Ukrainian food, but have been totally won over!!!

What an outstanding collection of flavors - everything was delicious and the setting was perfect for a comfortably elevated evening out!

A beautiful restaurant, a thoughtful service, and absolutely delicious food. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Tiny (almost laughable) servings; big prices. Food was bad to mediocre. Very disappointing. Not a repeat for sure.

Food was excellent! The virgin bloody mary with celery foam was great! We also grabbed some pastries to go which were fluffy and delicious and a great snack later.

There is nothing I would not order from here. From the Zakusky, we got the Egg Mayo, Pashtet, Trout Roe Tart, bread, and cheese stuffed peppers, but I would have eaten the entire cart. For our mains, Lokshyna, Borsch, and Pork Belly. If you drink, do not sleep on the horseradish infused vodka! The service is casual and welcoming, the hand soap in the bathroom is delectable, and the drinks were top notch.

Anelya is unassuming, gracious—and quietly brilliant. Chef Kim was seating guests herself. No announcement, no pretense. You'd only know it was her if you knew. (We knew.) The cocktail set the tone—clean, confident. The infusion that followed grounded everything. The whole night moved with intention, from the surprise of the appetizer cart to mains that felt layered but never overworked. The pashtet with warm pampushky—a personal pairing we authored—hit just right: rich, delicate, anchored. They handled our allergies without blinking. If we didn't already have dessert plans, we would've stayed. Anelya doesn't try to impress. It just does.

Really disappointed by the service here because the food was wonderful. New played, but dirty silverware piled up on the table. Napkins left on the floor of other tables and stepped on by staff without notice. Just disappointed

A great experience in a beautiful space, attentive and kind service and absolutely delicious food. A great way to experience a new cuisine. The staff were so nice and made us feel at home, explaining the dishes to us and their cultural significance. I will dream of the trout roe tarts for the rest of the my life

They had a wonderful pop up shop featuring Ukrainian artists/artisans/makers. It was located past the courtyard, not very visible from the bar. Make sure to seek it out and stop by!

We had a wonderful meal at Anelya this past weekend. From the moment we arrived the service was spectacular and the food definitely exceeded our expectations. We loved the appetizer cart and getting to experience so many different takes on Ukrainian foods. The warm olives, beet salad, and halushki were stand outs for us!
