It's a bit expensive, but to sit in a gorgeous square within sneezing distance of an Aston Martin dealership, $5 for a coffee is a bargain.
Live it up. But just a little bit. Maybe pet some dogs.
Coffee's pretty good, too.

Visited Whispers Café in the Gold Coast with my family for ice cream, and sadly, our experience was very disappointing. The staff member on duty was unusually rude and unhelpful, refusing even simple requests like sampling flavors. We noticed that other guests seemed to be treated very differently, which made us feel singled out and unwelcome. This was not the friendly experience we had come to expect from this café.

terrible gelato. the flavor and texture is very disrespectful to the gelato name. $7 for 1 little scoop and only 1 flavor is crazy. not to mention, not very good! please just head a few blocks south to jenis

Fabulous European style coffee ice cream and more! This is a must visit! Who is a wonderful water fountain that people sit around services pretty good it's a very quaint park with a lot of people watching activity. I particularly like the pistachio muffins. They are really unique and amazing.
Perfectly situated on Rush Street between 6th of the most iconic restaurants in Chicago. The people watching is off the chain!

I only tried their gelato and those are delicious. Tried their vanilla, coconut almond fudge and chocolate almond gelatos. Wait time is longer as there were 2 people managing the customers. I went during the heatwave in June 2025 and they closed the gelato section due to excessive heat as the gelatos were melting.
They have a nice spot to sit and enjoy the downtown view. The place is friendly for kids as they have a fountain for the kids and adults to enjoy. Parking is difficult to find. If you’re lucky, you can find a spot to park on the street and it’s paid parking.

Had a hazelnut iced latte. The scenery makes the place worth a visit to. There were a handful of syrups to choose from including a couple sugar free options.

I purchased a freshly squeezed juice called Sunrise that was listed on the board for $10, but I was charged $15. When I questioned the price difference, I was told the new signs hadn’t arrived yet. However, there was no notice anywhere indicating that prices had changed. Customers should be made aware of price updates—this felt misleading and disappointing.

Very cute little cafe and juice bar in a pocket park. Very much enjoyed having my juice with my feet put up on the fountain. A little wait to order, but I would expect this from a small, fresh made, single server joint.
Phenomenal apple cake and ice coffee. They were very helpful with suggestions and other options not listed on the menu. Plenty of seating as well!
