I’ve received some big burnt tasteless Pancakes, runny bland eggs and bacon that was bathing in grease. They musta been mad this am ..sorry to have wasted my money here.

Love the pictures / murals on the wall. Great Chicago history. You get the vibe of the old time diner and the food is well worth the price. Hearty helpings!!!

Don't like the intersection of Roosevelt and Canal because that corner has a lot of nasty people standing and hanging around. However, the food at this location is good, the prices are ouch ouch and ouch. The staff members are nice as well. This restaurant needs to relocate to a clean and decent corner.

i ordered a 10.99 dish and my friend ordered a 14.99 dish and somehow the total came out to 33.50 BEFORE tip… i didn’t catch it till i got back home but it seems we were charged some extra fees other than tax (which in chicago is 10.75% and would’ve brought our total to $28.77)… other than that the food was okay i wouldn’t recommend it for the prices.

The steak was undercooked.
I asked for one soup and a different one was brought. The mashed potatoes gravy was also salty and sour at the same time.

I do not recommend this restaurant . It was a poor dining choice.

Premium diner food. Portion sizes are huge. The gravy and cream of broccoli soup were excellent. Decent service, good vibes.

This place is horrible. Coffee is horrible. It's not hard to mess up coffee. It's so easy, to make a fresh batch too. Why lie about making some, you can instantly tell if it's not steaming, that it's been sitting there. The most annoying thing, was my mom ordered the Magnificent 7. The waitress brought out the pancakes and bacon. I called the waitress over, and asked where the eggs were. The waitress read the menu to me and said, it was eggs and bacon or bacon and pancakes. I told her, she needed to read the punctuation better. Because a comma meant, you get eggs, bacon or sausage and pancakes. I said the double bacon must have been a typo. Especially since she said eggs and sausage or bacon and pancakes. Why call the plate magnificent 7, if there are not 7 items on the plate? That's the biggest argument. She simply said, idk. I just work here. Some lady that looked like she just rolled out of bed, was messing with the register, and heard everything, said nothing. I'm sure my mom's not the first person to pay more for items, that are missing on their plates. Never go there again. Parking stinks for that area anyway.

The server by the name of Declan showed amazing hospitality and made my experience enjoyable. I would recommend this spot if you need a late night eatery to go to.
