Amazing service and loved our drinks so much. Our waiter was super friendly and we overall enjoyed the ambience!
Good food, great and quick service. We came in at 6 pm and out by 7pm to see a play at Steppenwolf. I had the Mediterranean salad with salmon. The salad was really good but the salmon was just okay. My daughter had the Dips as her main course and really enjoyed the ricotta with hot honey. My son enjoyed the short Rib and my wife had the caesar with chicken.
Food was very good. Service friendly but erratic. About an hour between the time of our reservation and actually tucking into our first course. That course was soup, and our entree arrived before we could finish the soup. We asked that our coffee be delivered at the same time as dessert (and the server agreed) , but the coffee arrived well in advance. We had the sense that they may have been understaffed. Managers kept apologizing to us for the erratic service. Maybe we hit them on an off night.
Service friendly and team- oriented. Energy level high but can be a little loud. Brunch meal was a tasty generous portion.
Octopus appetizer, salmon entree and burger were excellent, along with the service and atmosphere. Wine pours a little pricey.
First time dining here and we will back! Delicious food and service in a beautiful space. Portions were huge and totally worth taking home. Actually one of the best Cesar Salads I've ever had!
Good service and good food! 3 of us ordered different fish entrees & 1 ordered the pork chop special. We all shared salads & made it in plenty of time for the theatre 2 blocks away.
Willow Room is one of my favorite restaurants. It is cozy, consistent, fun and beautiful. The staff is attentive and professional while being relaxed and accommodating. I find the food to be tasteful and served in a timely manner with excellent presentation. I love this restaurant!
It’s a really nice neighborhood restaurant. The ambience makes it. It’s not too loud and you can have a good conversation. I had the truffle gnocchi. It was a touch heavy for me, maybe because the portion size is healthy. I thought the value for the price was right on. I’ll definitely come back and try something else out.

Without a doubt, our new favorite restaurant in Chicago! Excellent, relaxed vibe. Great wine list. Excellent Negroni and Manhattan. Arancini and Mussels for appetizers - both great. Halibut and Chicken for our entrees - both also excellent. We were too full for dessert but we’ll try and save room for our next visit. WE WILL BE BACK!

Solid neighborhood restaurant with a nice atmosphere, very good service and great food & drinks,
Great Service. The steak sandwich was great but way too “hot” with peppers. Also, my friend's quiche pie crust was not good. It was so hard he couldn't cut through it or eat it. Room is great but the noice level is terrible.
Wine bottle prices at 5x retail, perfunctory service, mediocre food, poorly made cocktails and a noise level way above “energetic” have ensured we will not return. Sad and disappointing since location and attractiveness of space were so enticing.
The food was excellent. The Monday 3 course menu is a steal and offers you a great taste of the menu. We had the Halibut and the Burger and they were both incredible! Don't skip on the dessert menu here - they have great options.
