Have enjoyed going to Vinci since I moved to Chicago in 2007. Wonderful place, people, staff, food, and by name; my friend Clyde. Truly a unique place that I recommend, not just for dinner, also a great venue for private events and celebrations. Went to Vinci pre-theater. The food was simple and delicious. Our servers were capable. We were there on a pleasant Thursday evening and the dining room was slow but my wife mentioned that the patio was rocking.We valet parked and picked up our vehicle after the show.
Looking for a Place to eat near second city for 7 people. Lucky they had a reservation and surprisingly the restaurant was 1/2 full. We only had 11/4 hours. We rushed the meal which was our fault. For apps we had the caprese salad (ok) and Arancini (great 3 balls). The restaurant has gluten free bread and the GF pizza got high praise. Second best she ever had was the review.
