Best high end food experience in Chicago
I've been lucky enough to visit Alinea twice now and both times it has truly blown my mind. While the first visit (~2015) was typified by whimsy, I'd say my 2026 visit added a bit more drama to the overall experience. Both the normal dining room experience and the Chef's table were incredible. Our primary server was Olivia, and she brought just the right level of knowledge and humor and serious foodie discussion to the table.
