Lady at the counter was very nice and it was pretty quick. 1,000,000x better than the fry like an eagle place next door. Food was really good and good portion sizes for only like $12. Definetly will consider next time I’m in Chicago.

This place is a hidden gem. They have a crazy good lunch special for like $9 where you get a huge portion of food and an egg roll. We tried the beef with Chinese vegetables and also the chicken with Chinese vegetables and both were fantastic. You can tell the meat is high quality and all the vegetables were fresh. The egg rolls were dynamite too with a super light, crispy dough. And the owner was so incredibly gracious and welcoming too! 10/10 would recommend and I definitely will be back.

Gave me the wrong order off uber eats. Dont get these guys if you're ordering online. You dont even get a child sized portion of meat.
Stopped by Wonder Chop for dinner and was seriously impressed. Started with the crispy Egg Rolls that had the perfect crunch. For the main, I went with the General Tso's Chicken combo platter—tender chicken in a tangy sauce, served with fried rice and an egg roll. The portions were generous, and the flavors hit just right. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to.

I went here Friday night during the dinner rush, it was busy with people coming in and out for take out orders.
The restaurant has 5 tables in total and when we got there only a few were still open. The host was busy so we sat ourselves and she came and helped us right away. We ordered the spicy wings, orange chicken, and shrimp fried rice. The food was fresh and flavorful. I started to sweat a bit from the spicy wings because they were so hot but thankfully it was cool in restaurant. Even though there were many people in the small restaurant it wasn’t stuffy, there was a fan near the back circulating the air. There was another lady besides the host who was sweet. You can tell she cares deeply for her customers. I would recommend this restaurant it’s worth the wait!

Went here going by the reviews I saw online but won’t be back that’s for sure. AC was broken and only had a small fan for the entire restaurant. We went in and there was no host so we went to order at the front. We weren’t asked if we were going to dine in or take out. Either way we ordered and went to find a table. The wait time was 40 min which seemed long considering that it wasn’t busy. After waiting a solid 40+ min the person brought our food to the table in bags so I figured she assumed we were doing take out. We didn’t say anything and began eating when the manager (owner maybe) came over about 5 min later. She looked upset and all she said was “we don’t do business like that, now we have to clean all the bags and containers”. Confused, I just explained that no one asked if we would be dining in which was our intent. She looked surprised and walked off, no apology or anything. We ate, the rest of our bland tasting meal and carried off the trash leaving only the utensils.

I only order shrimp fried rice as I wanted to try it and not spend too much money. It was the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. It has no flavor and the shrimp was cold. Also, they put too much onions. I thought it would be better due to the high rating on this place. Don’t be fooled!

I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. Mary, the waitress, was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure everything was just right. The food was of really good quality and fresh - a standout aspect of the visit. Overall, it was an all-around great experience. I'll definitely be back.
