One of my favorite small spots in Chinatown, making dishes that I can’t come close to replicating at home. Think hand pulled noodles, gluten cakes, and stuffed buns. I’ve been coming here since 2019, and the prices are always reasonable for a good amount of food. It’s a small business with small business quirks. QR codes make it easy to order—the owner is the primary waitstaff and speaks limited English. The Biang Biang noodles is a must-order.

A cozy spot serving flavorful Xi’an dishes. We tried the Biang Biang noodles, sesame noodles, and cumin lamb crepe - the Biang Biang was the clear standout with its perfectly chewy texture and rich flavor, though all dishes were really solid. The space has a warm mom-and-pop feel that adds to the charm.

My friend put me on to this place and he definitely did not miss on this. Very chill vibe inside with one server in the restaurant who was very nice so shoutout to her!

The three of us ordered a flatbread (I believe that is what the english translation was on the menu but correct me if I’m wrong!), one pork, one lamb, and marinated beef. I personally don’t eat pork so I can’t rate that one but the lamb was very tender and diced up with a nice mix of flavor and salt. Unfortunately, the beef was kind of cold but it was still tender and I could taste the flavor!

$20 for 3 very filling flatbreads though… you can’t go wrong. Each were about $6 so I’m very satisfied with my visit and would go again!

You really need to know what to order…. They have some fair choices with low prices like the noodles and the bao.
But then most of the dishes are stored in refrigerator and reheated, I don’t feel they are fresh enough to be safe to digest…..

I am traveling and decided to get some hot/sour hand-pulled noodles before checking into my hotel. I am so happy because these noodles were SO GOOD. Better than other similar noodles I've had in SF and greater Bay Area. I also got a passion fruit and mango smoothie and was so pleasantly surprised to find real passion fruit. This place is an absolute deal in terms of price for portion and taste. Service is efficient. I would absolutely come back eagerly if I ever come back to Chicago.

I feel like the other location near UIC has a bigger menu and more items available, though the food here was still good and the portion sizes were generous. Everything was flavorful and came out quickly. It's a good spot for a quick bite, and it wasn't busy at all when I visited. The prices are also very affordable compared to other places in Chinatown.

The vegetarian flat bread is dynamite, it is the second time I ordered it and it did not disappoint. The person who took our order did encourage me to get the noodles which I wasn’t initially planning on getting but so glad I listened. The noodles were incredibly fresh and they were able to sub out meat for fried tofu! Family run vibes make this spot special.

I have no idea what we ordered, but everything was delicious. The lamb sandwich type thing and the noodles were my favorite! The server was very nice and offered me a fork and other items since I was struggling a bit with chopsticks. I kept using the chopsticks though.

Easy to find place that should be tucked away for good. The atmosphere is not great at all. What's played on the screen is just this documentary of some tragedy that just kills any appetite.

The food is lackluster. They say it's hand-pulled noodles, but it's not. The skewers are decent but not the best.

What's appalling is that they are extremely pushy about tips even though the service was poor.

There are a lot of other good places nearby.

The lamb skewer was delicious, and so was the hand-stretched noodles with beef in hot & sour sauce. The marinated pork roujiamo was also yummy but the meat was a little dry. On the bright side, the chili oil was a good compliment to the meal and the food got out relatively fast after ordering. Overall, it's an another hole-in-a-wall restaurant in Chinatown that serves food other than the usual Cantonese food like many other places in the area.
