One of my favorite small spots in Chinatown, making dishes that I can’t come close to replicating at home. Think hand pulled noodles, gluten cakes, and stuffed buns. I’ve been coming here since 2019, and the prices are always reasonable for a good amount of food. It’s a small business with small business quirks. QR codes make it easy to order—the owner is the primary waitstaff and speaks limited English. The Biang Biang noodles is a must-order.
A cozy spot serving flavorful Xi’an dishes. We tried the Biang Biang noodles, sesame noodles, and cumin lamb crepe - the Biang Biang was the clear standout with its perfectly chewy texture and rich flavor, though all dishes were really solid. The space has a warm mom-and-pop feel that adds to the charm.
My friend put me on to this place and he definitely did not miss on this. Very chill vibe inside with one server in the restaurant who was very nice so shoutout to her!
The three of us ordered a flatbread (I believe that is what the english translation was on the menu but correct me if I’m wrong!), one pork, one lamb, and marinated beef. I personally don’t eat pork so I can’t rate that one but the lamb was very tender and diced up with a nice mix of flavor...
