I originally wanted the 1/2 rotisserie, but they were out. I was so disappointed!! You're a chicken restaurant.??♀️ So I had the salmon. Don't waste your time ordering that. However, go for the chicken and waffles, the braised short rib, or the ribs. Talk about a party in your mouth. The keylime cheesecake was also a favorite at our table. You won't go wrong ordering the chicken. STAY AWAY from the lobster mac n cheese!! You pay MP (Market Price), so the dish was $75. It looks pretty but not worth the money. It was lacking in flavor.
I absolutely love Yardbird. I have been to Vegas, Miami and Chicago locations and they are all top notch. One of the main reasons I travel to Chicago is to eat at yardbird. I love the gluten free chicken and waffles, I have yet to find anything like that anywhere else. They also have desserts and chocolates that are gluten free. My server Cat and the manager Brittany were both extremely personable and the other staff are always very nice and attentive. The whiskey room is SO COOL and I love that it’s two stories. The ambiance is great and they always have lively music playing. I recommend yardbird to anyone and everyone!

It was my first time visiting this place. I came in one evening by myself and ordered the chicken and waffles and it was okay. The customer service was nice but when I got the check I seen the gratuity was added in the amount 10$ and some change and it turned me off! I was going to tip 20$ in cash but when I seen a gratuity added I just paid the check and left! Will not be revisiting.

Boisterous establishment with southern American dishes with some fun twists. Chicken being center-stage to their menu, the chicken and waffles were quite good. I’ve never had a waffle that soft and fluffy, despite being laced with cheese. The chicken was good, though I prefer boneless fried chicken over the mostly dark meat bone-in pieces.The apple cobbler, which comes with quite the prep time, was absolutely spectacular dessert, both visually and in terms of flavor - the many layers were delicious, though I would’ve been totally fine without the bottom layer of cake.
We visited on a rainy Sunday and sat in Devin’s section. The rain did not dull the mood - Devin brought the energy and made us feel so special. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and everything he recommended was delicious!!! 10/10 will be back!Highly recommend the brussel sprouts and Lucile’s fried chicken - delicious!

As soon as we entered, we were welcomed by the friendliest waiters. Our waitress, named Britney, came over regularly to check that we were cared for throughout our experience. The meals were very well made and the chefs made sure every detail was perfect. Finally, the atmosphere was delightful and the music was very enjoyable and fun to listen to. Best diner in Chicago!
