Yolk is a safe and comfortable atmosphere. The food is good. Service is great. The only problem I had is the same old problem. Doesn't anyone know how to fry eggs with a runny yolk and whites fully cooked anymore?

Our waiter, Robbie, was terrific. Pancakes were burned and when replacements arrived they were not fully cooked. Omelette was delicious and huge. Cheesy grits were delish.

Loved this place. Nice ambience and a short walk to the west side. The food was very good. They have some amazing coffee specialities to offer. The eggs and pancakes were very good too, nice choices and big portion sizes.

Burned toasts, overcooked eggs, dry salmon and sausages, watery and bland spinach... and high prices. The service and the atmosphere are pretty decent, but the food is absolutely mediocre. I'd choose IHOP over Yolk any day and save money.
Food was amazing! We considered getting our own entry, but opted on sharing the frittata which also came with two pancakes. More than enough food for the two of us. Great spot close to Union Station. Will definitely be back the next time visiting Chicago.

The lady in the blue stared at me and my group the ENTIRE time we were there and this was our first time as well as our group was majority black. They put cheese in my friends eggs when she made it VERY clear to NOT put it in her food. My other friends breakfast burrito was TERRIBLE not even edible. And we waited about an hour just to get the check. Honestly I would give it a 0/5 experience will not come back here.
