The most delicious AND the most inexpensive restaurant in Chicago?! Sounds impossible, but it happens here. Add in warm, attentive hosts & authentic atmosphere, and what more could you want! A generous portion of roast duck over noodles in soup for $10. Add roast and bbq pork for another $1.50. Try the XO sauce, if you've never had it. Enjoy!

Our favorite local hole-in-the-wall spot in Chinatown for a meal. You it's good when the neighborhood residents eat there. It's not fancy. It's just good, authentic Chinese food.

Ordered noodles with brisket. All the meat had a thick layer of fat back and gristle. It was horrible… we said something to our waitress and she brought us a bowl of non-gristly meat. It was obvious to me they serve the tourists the worst scraps.. it wouldn’t be in business if they served all the locals unchewable meat… yuck!!! A couple other items we got were pretty good but it was nothing really special that we could’ve gotten from our local Chinese restaurant.

Tbh, it was a little disappointing given the stellar reviews. Been here twice, I think I got the Spicy Beef Shank Noodle Soup with thin rice noodles both times. The soup wasn’t spicy at all 😭 and the flavor was very, very mild. Nice big chunk of meat and the cabbage was a nice touch as it added some texture and variety

We were here few times several years ago, 5 stars. 6 of us returned yesterday, not impressed, not sure what happened. 3 different beef soups tasted the same and no punch to the broth. We ordered 3 soups, shank, tenderloin and brisket, all the beef was the same looking, so as much as I know my beef, I was not sure what beef we were eating, but very gellatin. We will not return.
