Vegan tamales with the mole dinner!! Amazing !! I do wish the tamales were a bit more traditional like maybe the verdes and rojos with a jackfruit or flor de Jamaica but I’ll throw down with the quinoa anyday.
These are the best tamales and the best mole in Chicago. Honestly, I haven’t had better. It’s traditional Oaxacan style and large portions. The dinner comes with one big tamale with the rice, beans and of course mole wrapped in a large banana leaf. They even sell jars of their mole. There’s also guacamole and fresh juices. Oh and they always have a few meat tamales (chicken, pork, etc.), a vegetarian option and a vegan option. If you haven’t tried this restaurant yet,...
This one of the best oaxaqueños tamales in the city of Chicago. Once you tasted them you will keep on going back. My favorite is the chicken tamales with red sauce. It’s even better if you make it a dinner. Rice & beans. And don’t forget to order your agua de horochata.
