We really liked Zia's. While I didn't reserve outside, the staff at Zia's was able to accommodate our request to sit outdoors. We started with cocktails which were creative and delicious. The kind of fresh, tasty drinks you'd have multiples of if we could hold our liquor better and they weren't $14 each. Don't get me wrong, that's not outrageous, but a touch high if you want more than one. We ordered an appetizer from the "To Share" section; a small salad which was more than enough for two, possibly three. For our mains, one person ordered a large salad with the shrimp supplement and the shrimp were huge, and perfectly grilled. Another had a pasta dish which was excellent, and the third diner had a chicken dish with pasta. Portions ranged from acceptable (the pasta) to generous (chicken). Two in the party also ordered a glass of wine each. Our check without tax and gratuity was $160. So not outrageous, but definitely not a budget meal. We'd definitely return.
Enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio. Such a nice experience. Service is always excellent.
The food was fantastic, especially the strawberry/rhubarb salad shareable! Our waiter couldn't have been any better! He was patient and made outstanding suggestions! We will be back!
We sat outside on the patio on a very warm evening, but enjoyed the large fan that made it quite pleasant. We took advantage of the tasty happy hour Old Fashions for only $8 each, and they were nicely crafted. We ordered butternut ravioli and veal limone, both delicious. But what stood out the most, was our personable waiter, Michael. Super efficient and accommodating (food allergies to contend with) all with a lovely smile and brilliant manner. We'll be back.
I have visited Zia's many times and have enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The food was good last night the service was fair and the noise level was very high. It was a disappointment since I was entertaining out of town company.
The food was good to great, but was disappointed that the service was a really slow. We have been there many times and will still go back. I'm sure it will be better next time.
Zia's is a Norwood Park neighborhood treasure! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff! Great for date night, dinner with a group of couples, or mom's night out! Excellent menu selection and cocktails! Can't wait for it to warm up to hit the outdoor patio!!!
Was completely over priced which the price was not well advertised. The food option was high but mediocre and not very warm. 1/2 the cost would have been closer to value. $60./person for eggs and sausage was a bad joke. Only persons I rec'd great service from was the young men filling water glasses.
2 couples with a lot of good dining experience...all enjoyed and give this spot a 10/10!! Great date night
We were seated by the bus station. The servers must've been practicing their pitches because it was a racket! I also got splashed with water from someone tossing something into the bus area. I understand size constraints. I suggest they speak to their staff and have a protocol for that.

Everything from braciole and polenta appetizer to the chicken marsala and lasagna was absolutely delicious. Kind of loud but upbeat energy in the crowd.

My friends and I wanted to celebrate New Year's and we landed on Zia's Social.
We made reservations and were able to get seated right away, and we were quickly served.
We began with drinks, and the Shirley Temples were delicious. For appetizers, we got truffle fries which were alright and for our main we got a New Years Special which were these lobster pasta pillows and they were SO GOOD and a margherita pizza which was pretty good too (just very cheesy!!). We got served our food very quickly despite it being busy.
For desert we got the lava brownie which was really gooey and delicious and the banana split tacos which were amazing. I would highly reccomend the desserts!!
The vibe was amazing- they had a DJ and fun New Years hats and other little things and even a dance floor! I would definitely recomend this place for the vibe and pretty inexpensive, good food!
