TLDR: Food Poisoning
My wife and I grabbed a chicken quesadilla and a chicken sandwich during our layover yesterday. My daughter and I had a few bites of the quesadilla because the chicken was mushy. My wife found her sandwich the same, but was hungry and kept eating.
By the end of the flight, my daughter and wife had thrown up multiple times, and my wife and I are still feeling the effects with bubble guts a day later
Do NOT eat here!

So my fiancée and I were flying from Toronto to Tokyo but with a connecting flight through Chicago.
This cafe was located inside the terminal near our gate flying to Haneda.
I wasn't hungry so I didn't get anything, my partner on the other hand ordered a turkey sandwich. She got pickles, real deli mustard and the standard condiments (lettuce, tomatoes, etc) on her sandwich.
Personally for the price I paid, I thought they could've put more turkey in the bun but taste-wise, it was solid, according to her. As far as sandwiches go, I thought it was around a 3 but she thought it deserved 4 stars because the pickles were super tasty and the mustard was that real deli mustard, not the processed yellow stuff.

Has oatmilk. The staff is distracted but provides a timely service.
Ya call that a sausage egg n cheese? Wish I'd gone to any of the other food options.

Food poisoning. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese croissant and a latte. Worse latte I've had in a while. It was basically just milk, no espresso flavor. The egg in the croissant was worse than a McDonald's breakfast egg, obviously microwaved. The sausage was super bland. Really wish I would have eaten anywhere else because I got food poisoning from this breakfast.

No phone number on file and cannot get a hold of anyone to claim expenses. ORD has no way of contacting the cafe either. Very frustrating.

I got chicken enchilada soup here. It was decent, my expectations were fairly low. The soup was very thick and came with saltine crackers. It was pretty bland but there was some flavor in the soup.

Was quick simple and good. Not too expensive for an airport. Got a chicken avocado sandwich for 12 bucks

Restaurantji Recommends
This was such a bad experience, it’s the worst service I think I’ve ever encountered. I didn’t even end up ordering anything because the girl at the counter was so rude. All I wanted was a latte, and I’d never had their coffee so I was looking forward to trying it. Ended up with a Starbucks from across the way and the baristas were very nice. I’ll never come here again. I can see why they have such horrible reviews.

The staff at the register were very rude and unhelpful - they won’t let me use my Apple Pay after it didn’t go through the first time and they were very rude and dismissive about it. I don’t recommend people coming here.

Service was pretty quick and straightforward. I got the chicken 🍗 sandwich 🥪 and wasn't too happy with it. Too bland, kinda small, had a weird texture, and wasn't really satiating. Would not 🚫 return - there are certainly other better options in ORD.
