Had a great experience walking in and trying the spinach and cheese pie. Baklava was so good. Very friendly staff will absolutely be back. Thank you!

This place is family owned and delicious! Very friendly? I count on them for all my events.

I had been looking forward to trying this place out in the neighborhood but I was sadly disappointed. They did not have many pastries available when I went Friday morning but I did pick up a couple cream filled phyllo dough pastries. My husband went to take a big bite when I got back into the car and it was FROZEN! He almost threw up. I did take mine home and reheated it in the toaster oven but it had a freezer burn taste to it. I might try them again for their baklava but I hope it isn't frozen! I'm so surprised because there are many good reviews! Maybe mine was just a fluke?

The spinach pies are good

$2 baklava was a huge portion and super delicious! Spinach pie was $3.50 and a generous portion, plus crispy dough and big chunks of cheese inside. Old man at the front seems to be the baker himself - very kind and heated up the food for us! Will be back for sure!

We have been getting our spanikopita from this bakery for years and years and year. It isn't a Makropoulos celebration without his baked goods. xx

old school bakery run by a single man that just celebrated his 80th birthday. spinach pie is just amazing... and has a few other dishes that taste fantastic, even if I cannot pronounce what they are called. cookies are so good too... support this small business.... the proprietor/baker is a kind man.

Great tiny bakery for Greek pastries with the lowest prices around. Hurting because of COVID.

This was my first experience at Zorba's a hidden gem of one of the very few remaking Greek bakeries in all of Chicago. I have spent time living in Greece but I was born in the us. All baked items are authentic and made from scratch. One bite of the baklava and I was transported back to Athens. Layer upon layer of buttery handmade crispy phyllo drenched in honey and nuts. What's not to love?. The spanikopita was the closest I have had anywhere in the us outside of Greece. Prices are beyond reasonable. It's cash only just like most stores I used to go to on Greece. The owner was very nice to me and my daughter. I can't wait to go back this is a destination place

Mr Christos is always there and does the best to accommodate any occasion if he can. Best Spanakopitakia (Spinach little Pies) and Tyropitakia ( Cheese little pies) , as soon as you start serving them they will be gone! He makes tsourekia for Christmas and Easter which they are the best from any other bakery! Desert side Amygdalota cookies are the BOMB!!!! ( Almond cookies) always so fresh they melt in your mouth. Thank you Zorbas for giving me a good experience every time!!!! You are the best!

Great pastry shop that's been here for ages. I always come here to satisfy my Greek sweet tooth! Everything home made. I also buy tiropites from here by the dozen for my home parties for many years and my guests are always commenting on how delicious they are and asking me where I get them from. Yum!
