“Stopped by on a Monday, the kitchen was closed but they still had an Italian Beef lunch special. It was very good , better than I expected .
The bartender was friendly and outgoing .

“Had a wonderful Breakfast. The server was ever so attentive and she made certain my guests were perfectly happy with the service and meal. Sits within the confines with a bar, a simple bar with the bare minimums. Do not have beer on draft and neither the ingredients to make a Dirty Martini nor a Manhattan; but, the servers make every effort to service quickly and keep an eye out for another round should ine so choose. Even have some slot machines to pass the time and add some change to one's pocket. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served with the doors opening around 5:30 AM - especially great for those that may wish Breakfast before going to work or out on the hunt for Deer Season.“

“Had a pretty good time of my dad show there they were serving a drink called blue balls which was pretty good ended up buying a home Mason jar of it. Will return in the future have fun and definitely recommend to anyone who's trying to have a good time.“

“Decide to walk downtown in West Frankfort Illinois..To a local tavern for lunch
What I like about the establishment is in the middle of the restaurant is the bar..so waitress/ bartender can go back and forth freely

There is a cute duck claw game and several different adult lottery games There are TVs on both sides. there are two ways to come into the building . Very roomy and very spacious building

The attitude of the waiter was very friendly and very nice
And surprised it was not crowded because it was late afternoon Saturday

As far as the food only reason I gave it a 4 instead of five
Menu selections were limited @ cheese for burgers
Went with cheeseburger baskets the cheeseburger patty was a Great size the Patty very filling
Another great touch how they plated up the cheeseburger baskets
The cheeseburger patties which were very tasty and very good size came on a nicely toasted buttered roll
on the side there was lettuce and tomatoes and onions and pickles
I was very impressed at how they did this because nowadays you don't see a lot of places taking the time to make a plate look nice..
Then you have the french fries hot and crispy and plenty of them in the baskets and came with your choice of soda
Baskets were 12.00$ each very reasonable price for the amount of food that we received

From a friendly atmosphere to a friendly waiter
Hats off to the cook for good food all in all a great place

Now when I had last put my review up
I had given it a solid review
That recently has changed

In regards to the waitress with long blonde hair a female
who was very slow did not offer menus do not offer a drink did not check on one side of the restaurant by the time she got to ask him if he wanted anything it was about 20 minutes later and there was only one person in front of us who ordered chicken wings she is very rude and she was very rude

And as far as the owner of the establishment I did contact them they stated they would get back to me they got back to me once with no resolve to the issue

So I have now lowered the Stars

Due to a slow waitress
And an owner who does not take care of the issues“

“Loved this place..Food was amazing..Service was awesome..We went at almost 8 p.m at night when they were almost done serving food but they still gave the best service. We were down in Sesser camping for the weekend so knew we had to go grab a bit to eat the first night since we didn't get food that first night since we were late getting in.“
