We typically leave our hometown to come to El patron in Coal City because their food really is head and shoulders above most. Not fancy, a great menu selection, good quality and good portions. Margaritas are terrific and they have a good bar selection too. The restaurant was very clean, bright, and well attended.
This is a mediocre Mexican restaurant. Cool decor and fast service. The food is the standard Mexican place that you would get at a cheaper Mexican restaurant. Service was excellent.
The food is always fast, hot and well made. The margaritas are delicious, but if that's not your thing try a paloma! It comes in a cute cup! This is a small restaurant and at peak times there may be a wait for seating. Parking can sometimes be tricky as well.
