I recently had The Sandwich Shop in Collinsville cater my 75th birthday party for about 50 guests, and I couldn’t be more pleased! The food was absolutely delicious — everyone raved about it. We had green beans, fried chicken, ham, potatoes, and salad, and everything was served hot and fresh. We used to frequent the Sandwich Shop 2-3 times a week. We moved out of town for a couple years. Went in today and saw the prices!! We left without eating. Not gonna spend $12 for a sandwiche, $4 for a side and probably another $4 for a beverage. That's $20! That's too much!! The prices of the sandwiches should include a real side, not just chips. I really liked the Diner but I can't afford it.

We've liked eating here for many years and will continue when possible to attend the Sunday Brunch! What a selection, and honestly just sitting out back on the patio listening to some music while having brunch is great.
