“We are full-time RVers who, while traveling around the US, are in search of the best cheeseburger and have a rating system of The Best (only 1 rated), Very Good, Good, OK, and Not Impressed. While at our home base in Southern Illinois, we were in the Columbia, IL, area and Googled “hamburger restaurants.” We saw Washy’s Pub had good burger reviews, so decided to give them a try for lunch. Washy’s has a simple bar atmosphere with about a dozen tables. We ordered their Classic burger with me having American cheese and my wife pepperjack. We also requested lettuce, pickles, and sliced onions. The handmade patties were about 10 oz (good sized), nicely seasoned, cooked to order, charbroiled, and served on a nicely-toast fresh bun. I had their skinny-style battered fries and my wife had onion rings. The burgers came out hot and were super tasty due the meat seasoning. We’re not sure what seasoning they used, but it worked! My wife’s burger was just a tiny bit better than mine due the pepperjack they use. The fries and onion rings were among the best we’ve had as well. We rated the burgers (even without a special sauce), fries, and onion rings Very Good. The service was also top notch.“

“This was such a nice quiet place tucked away. The meal pictured was just 1 meal we split in half between the two of us. So it's safe to say they don't skimp on the portions. “I walked into this bakery and was instantly taken back to the German bakery I grew up with. It smelled heavenly. I've never seen so many beautiful cookies! I got the coconut pineapple cheese coffeecake and an old fashioned cheesecake. Plus I got a cheese Danish for the road. It's all so good.“

“APOLLONIA is a fun place with great food! The staff is always attentive and friendly. The gyros and gyro salads are generous. The rest of the menu is full of fun stuff to try too. Every time I go there the it's been a clean and well kept dining space as well. Really hard to beat it!

“Every Mexican restaurant I go to, I always try the Chimichangas first. I did a pick up order. The Chimichangas had no cheese on top. I asked where was the cheese sauce, they pointed that it was located at the bottom. It was good but not the best I’ve had. Disappointed especially since it’s called CHIMICHANGAS 😂“

“Amazing food - best Persian-style cuisine in STL so far and some of the best anywhere we've traveled. Saffron chicken kebab was beyond tender and so flavorful. Their version of biryani was delicious, too, and the gyro was solid. The sambosas were a great starter, and even the fries that came with the gyro were good. We'll be back to try more dishes soon!“

“Had stayed away forever because, come on…Casa Romero. We were going to go back to our norm (which in all honest, had been mediocre at best the last handful of times). Of course, we couldn’t get on the parking lot, so I decided to roll the dice. I am so happy we did. This is our new home for Mexican food. The service, the food, the drinks, the cleanliness of the building, the bathrooms…the ample parking…I cannot wait to go back and enjoy the insanely good quesabirria tacos again.“

He is a very Jolly man (not referring Santa Clause). Waffle was very delicious. He will serve your food fast and make you happy in every way! He has a very nice trimmed beard. “This is one of the family's many restaurants around STL, but this place is the Daddy of the all. The other locations try to replicate this restaurant but have failed.

This place is the entire package, it is laid back, great food (best wing in the STL bar none), nice layout, corner supports bar. Everyone is super friendly, plenty of TV's, food is excellent, the atmosphere is electric, games for the kids, decently priced, cold drinks, outdoor patio if it's decent out - it's all that and a bag of chips.“
