Wish they hadn't added the slots. The ice cream has gone down in quality since the pandemic but who can blame them? Everything has. The slots have definitely made it felt like a less child-friendly environment and have taken away the indoor seating

Ice cream mixes are cheap and have no flavor. Chocolate doesn't taste like chocolate. sip it and go to DQ or McDonalds for a decent cone

Tried a chocolate malt & turtle sundae. Both good. The "Cone" brand flavors are not actual ice cream flavors but all vanilla with flavored mix-ins, which isn't my cup of tea. Stick to vanilla & toppings all good. Great seating outside#CineCottage#Crete

Employees are quick at serving and make decent ice cream and stuff. BUT, employees are really touchy on each other in the windows, they don’t wear hats or gloves… is this place really sanitary for people to eat at? on top of that i’ve heard rumors of them doing inappropriate things with each other from other locals, NOT PROFESSIONAL.
Love the ice cream but these kids need to wear gloves who are serving cones. There’s no food service in a 50 mile radius that doesn’t use gloves! No one wants fingerprints on their sugar cones!

It's a nice, hometown place for ice cream and fast food. Service is always friendly and you should expect a small line on warm days.

Employees seem to get confused when there's lots of customers on the patio. Ordered four things when it was my turn in line, and they call out each item as they're completed instead of giving them out together, so the hot fudge sundae I got first was melted by the time I got the Oreo shake 5-10 minutes later. It might have been faster if someone else hadn't taken my shake, so I was standing there waiting for nothing. Luckily one of the employees finally asked what I was waiting for and remade it, but overall I was disappointed. One of my sundaes was made incorrectly with pecans and had to be remade. Lucky I didn't have an allergy.The dessert itself is fine. It's soft serve ice cream, so you can't mess it up even if you tried. The store has been here forever so it's sort of nostalgic for me to come here to be honest. Just not exactly the same.
