So we moved here from Texas a few months ago, and to say it's been a struggle to find somewhat decent Mexican food anywhere in the midwest is an understatement.This place is good! And by good I mean the best we've found so far, which means stellar in comparison to the other options in town that we have tried. Not the best Mexican food we've had (again, we are from Texas and were used to just good Mexican food EVERYWHERE), but we have been back several times and this is our go to place to scratch that neverending itch for Mexican food.We've tried several things off the menu and haven't been disappointed yet! Solid choice for Mexican chow.

Very busy, but for good reasons. The food was great. We got the fresh guacamole and highly recommend it, maybe say light on the onions though. It took us 45 minutes to LEAVE and pay when we were done eating, that was maddening.

Excellent customer experience and over the top service. I've always loved El Coral, but today was exceptional. I asked our server if the chips were friend (maybe a dumb question) because I'm doing a challenge where I'm not eating friend foods for 75 days. He said no problem he can have the kitchen bake me some chips and brought them right out! The food is always excellent and this just made my day!
Food was pretty good. Had the nachos and got tins of toppings! Service was ok, did check on us for drink refill more than once. Had to wait awhile for our check too. Wasn't super busy at the time.

It wasn't bad, but I had to season not just my own meal for flavor, but the salsa as well. The food wasn't bad, it's just a really need to learn how to season it better. Prices are fairly reasonable but ask for to go cup on your drink as iced tea and soda are three bucks a piece. I would go back for a second meal.

Me and my boyfriend came here the food was great ! But the server was more interested in my man, she would come and ask HIM if he wanted another drink ( forget me ) . Came back to the table and asked did he like his food ( I said Yes our food has is great) . I asked for a to go box and she came back to the table and handed it to HIM. It’s very disrespectful that couples come here to have lunch and had to deal with things like that. I’m not an insecure person but it’s the principle, have some respect.
