If you want that fresh off the fire BBQ flavor, this is your place. I’m talking Church revival, Sunday picnic type food. Where others failed PTs hit the spot. Fresh & hot! It’s no wonder they've been around as long they have.
This is and has been the best BBQ place in Decatur hands down! Don't let the outdated building fool you. Go waste your money at all the other places for mediocre food for a high price or come get PT's real BBQ that is made in a real smoker not some expensive automated smoker like everyone else in town. Highly recommend!
This is a small bbq joint with no inside seating. So just take your order to the car, that smells is gonna get to ya'... don't openthat plate, it won't make it home! Usually, the ribs and tips are really tender, and the meat just comes off the bone. Well, due to the holiday orders, maybe they marinated or cooked the meats a litter faster than usual. The meat wasn't quite as tender as usual. My elderly family or the children couldn't really chew it....
