Every bar has a gimmick. Nowadays a lot of them getting too gimmicky. Not this place no gimmick. Hard to find in Chicago.Tried to drink all of their $4 tall boy PBR. First. I happened to be lucky enough to have the rare (as i was told at least) rib special. The fact that those ribs were the best i ever had blows my mind. Our bartender was extremely nice to a fault. Carded ok. Do your due diligence. I ordered a beer and 2 well tequila shots. I was served a shot while my wife got her id from the car. Great bar atmosphere, really good food, the pizza is good too. Friendly bartenders. I've been told the building is over 100 years old. It doesn't look that way on the inside though. Lots of tv's and music too.
