Rand Road House delivers fresh hot food and ice cold brews. Stopped in for lunch while waiting for my vehicle to finish across the street. I came just in time for 1/2 Price Burger Tuesday. Ordered a 1/2 pound burger with lettuce, tomato, onions and cheese and boy was it delicious, The patty was cooked exactly as requested medium rare and-just fabulous. Great bar atmosphere, really good food, the pizza is good too. Friendly bartenders. I've been told the building is over 100 years old. It doesn't look that way on the inside though. Lots of tv's and music too.
Every bar has a gimmick. Nowadays a lot of them getting too gimmicky. Not this place no gimmick. Hard to find in Chicago.Tried to drink all of their $4 tall boy PBR.
