Via Roma! The food is amazing! You can taste the love, care and passion that goes into there dish. Not only is the taste authentic the portions are also decent. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is like sitting in a dining room with a large family. My wife ordered the Penne Arrabiatta she loved it. I ordered the Spaghetti carbonara it was amazing. The Pancetta was nice and crispy pasta was cooked perfect Al dente overall amazing flavors. There olive oil is top notch as well with super fresh bread to dip. Definitely will be back to try other dishes! 100% recommend!

Via Roma is truly a Des Plaines gem - authentic Italian food you simply won't find better anywhere else. I've enjoyed both lunch and dinner here - casual meals, in larger groups or with clients and everything is always spot on. The service is warm, atmosphere welcoming and when the weather is nice, al fresco dining is a treat! I love trying something new each visit, the food is consistently fresh and delicious. Its so hard to choose a favorite! Highly recommend.

Very very loud, hard to hear. Asked waiter if could split beef lasagna without the spinach. She said to just pick spinach off. Brought lasagna & plates for us to split. Never ask if needed check split. Never asked if needed more to drink. Parking is terrible. After driving around block twice finally pulled into a lot that says parking for Via Roma customer no handicap until we parked walked then say handicap parking next to building. Very poor markings for parking. Will never return. Not recommend

Had dinner before a concert at the Des Plaines Theater, we arrived earlier then the dinner crowd and didn’t have to wait for a table. All the servers were friendly, we brought our own bottle of wine and were served glasses and an opener. Place had a very nice relaxed vibe. Seemed like a lot of regulars returned, they made us feel very welcomed. Food was very good! Definitely will be back when we visit Des Plaines area again!
Not impressed at all. Noodles for my chicken Parm, seriously undercooked. Sauce was average at bedtime. The lasagna my partner has was salty, had no noticable racotta. The table next to the s s lady returned her food for being too salty.
