“Friendly, caring, people that have a good time. Any person that is tending bar has always been very friendly, honest and keeps the bar area very clean. The whole building is very clean and there is no problems with any of the people interacting.
Parking: There are many parking spaces.

“We thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding reception at The Emerald Green. The new event coordinator, Dani, is truly fantastic. She is very familiar with event hosting and has a solid understanding of the wedding industry. It was a pleasure to work with Dani for her reliable communication, attention to detail, and professional coordination of vendors and reception timeline. Dani respected our floor plan design so the seating arrangement was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. There was ample seating and space for our DJ, photo booth, dessert table and a gifts table. Our guests especially loved the food and the open bar. Overall, we were pleased with the entire server staff of The Emerald Green. If you are interested in a beautiful venue to host your next event, we recommend this!“

“Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.
I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.
If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.“

“The Food, the service and the atmosphere…Friday and Saturday, this is where it’s at!!!“
“A nightclub in the middle of Harvey. And...it...was....bumpin!!!! On a Thursday!!! Just wow!!! The bar inside is fairly small but well appointed. Since it s summer? They had 3 huge tents...and a great sou d system. It was not only loud? But clear. You could hear the music clearly and the lyrics were clearly discernable from several blocks out. Wow Smittys!!! You are winning!!!
The security was also excellent. With the sidewalks all blocked off......with horses and tape and rope. Done well. Bumpin in Harvey!!! If u want a black owned nightclub? With great music? Atmosphere? Vibe? With young AND grown people? You ve found it!!!!
I only gave the food the rating I did because I didn't have any. When I do? I ll add to the review.

“Jovial Club is a true South Side gem. I swung by for a Friday night bite and had the ribeye steak sandwich with grilled onions and fries, with a couple of Old Styles. The steak was juicy, the fries crispy, and the vibe was just right. The horseshoe-shaped bar gives it a classic feel, and the staff made me feel like a regular. Definitely coming back for their next live music night.“

“We love Brewhouse and visit at least a couple times per month. They rotate their drink menu, there are always good local options (e.g., IPAs, Stouts, Lagers, Sours, Ciders), and they have a nice outdoor seating area that can be used during the warmer months. The bartenders are nice and playful and their food menu includes some clearly identified vegan options. They also have a couple of old arcade games you can play for free and have a bingo night, which is fun.“

“If your looking for some live blues, and great atmosphere. Friendly people, great bar stars...you've got to come by here on sundays...but you must come dressed to impress and ready to cut a rug...lol lol...and get their early. Seats fill up pretty “
“It's a small place with lots of big personalities. Dream is a great bar star and pours a mean drink. Prices are economical and you feel safe there. They scan everyone's ID which I think is a Posen requirement but I like it so if anything occurs, you know who was there. They have karaoke on Tuesdays and the owner has complimentary smoked wings and salad for patrons.“

“Great pizza, but dropped the ball with service on recent visit. This is one of our favorite places for pizza in the area, and we go there regularly. The food is always good, but today, we sat there for over 20 minutes without a single person stopping by to offer us water, offer to take our drink order or even just acknowledge our being there. It wasn’t even especially busy - most tables were empty. We gave up and went somewhere else.“
“Sometimes the owner of uncle Bobby's bar will Grill some food. The atmosphere is very nice everybody knows each other a lot of active and retired fireman and policeman attend. Also a lot of Armed Force branches Services men and women attend this Bar. Very friendly place they also have a pool table a jukebox and a dart board, highly recommended“
“Excellent place to stop by for a drink, music and bar bites. Drinks are always good and the Chicken Wings were delicious. I primary attend on Thursdays for Tommie’s Party which is 2-8pm. Tommie is always a welcoming host. Plenty of security available on site to make feel comfortable. Crowd is generally 50+.“

“This place isn't all that different from any other place, because it's just like a regular neighborhood bar, but every single time I've gone here I've ended up with amazing stories. So don't go here for the bar, go here for the atmosphere & the interesting people that you'll randomly meet. Also, the staff has always been an incredibly nice and friendly, so bonus!“

“At the newly remodeled J&R’s it’s always a great time! Stop on by and have a drink, they have a wide variety of drinks and the bar stars are so down to earth and make sure that you feel right at home. On the weekends it gets super crowded so make sure you get there early enough to get a seat!“
“I always have a good time when I visit! Sheila is an amazing bartender and her energy keeps me going! The bathroom and overall decor could use some renovations but it is always clean. The door is always locked and there are cameras so I feel a bit safer. Its an older crowd 30,35+ and it's a vibe! Drinks are made well and I've never had a complaint. I would love it if they had diet soda but I was told they'd try to get some. I'll be back again on Thursday!“

Well, i got married to the most wonderful woman. She's my best friend and my soulmate.
We've been married for 20 years. Untill last year May 31st 2024 my beautiful wife passed away from stage 4 lung cancer.. actually the hospital murdered my wife.
Before i got married i had a son. Also murdered.. by his mother. Angelita Miramontez.
She never got charged with anything.. because she hid and lied.. but now you and the world knows the horror of my life.
I hope you aren't dealing with this type of situation.
