“Celebrating granny's pre-homegoing service with the family. Great place to link up and discuss old times before services tomorrow. Great music. Friendly staff. Clean establishment. Long wait on the drinks but worth it. Ample seating. .. nice heated outdoor section to continue the party on. Do your best with the parking. Good times“

“Me and my coworker went here after a long trip coming to Chicago. Bartender found out we were from out of town and introduced us to all the regulars. Drinks were amazing. The regulars made us feel very welcome. Will definitely have to stop by again the next time I come to Chicago.“

“The vibe is so chill and laissez-faire, some people play chess, some cards, some people watch sports on the various TVs. The drinks are solid and the service is good.
It's a safe, warm environment! The food window is just what it is, lol. You can order from the full menu, tacos, pizza, fries, chicken and salads!“

“Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.
I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.
If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.“

“Nice place great crowd parking is good side note the parking lot across the street in the strip mall has a no parking policy at 8pm any cars in the lot will be towed and the owner will be charged a $250 tow fee the signs posted states no parking at 10:00pm which is false If you park at 8:00pm your vehicle will be towed.“

“Kefi has some of the most delicious Greek food in the Chicago suburbs! The lamb chops, souvlaki, and gyros are phenomenal and so are the moussaka, pastitsio, and spanakopita. When it comes to appetizers, you can’t go wrong with the flaming saganaki cheese, the grilled octopus the fried calamari, the loukaniko sausage, or the taramasalata. Don’t forget dessert! Try the baklava, galaktabouriko, and the chocolate cake! They have amazing drinks too! The employees there are very kind and friendly and the chefs really know how to cook! Eat at Kefi! You won’t be disappointed!“

“A nightclub in the middle of Harvey. And...it...was....bumpin!!!! On a Thursday!!! Just wow!!! The bar inside is fairly small but well appointed. Since it s summer? They had 3 huge tents...and a great sou d system. It was not only loud? But clear. You could hear the music clearly and the lyrics were clearly discernable from several blocks out. Wow Smittys!!! You are winning!!!
The security was also excellent. With the sidewalks all blocked off......with horses and tape and rope. Done well. Bumpin in Harvey!!! If u want a black owned nightclub? With great music? Atmosphere? Vibe? With young AND grown people? You ve found it!!!!
I only gave the food the rating I did because I didn't have any. When I do? I ll add to the review.

“Drinks and atmosphere are good. I am glad for Hyde Park to have a few more upscale options, even if the Cantina is not the Ritz. My only suggestion is that they change the name. The Cantina sounds more like a dive bar than a cocktail lounge. They should shorten it to Rosa.“

“The Saturday night bartender is so kind and always has a pleasant attitude. The drinks were good and even though it’s a cash bar it’s worth it to stop by the bank to get cash every single time I know I’m going here. Never had a bad experience at this bar.“

“Live bands and stepper sets every Sunday about 5 o'clock til 9 or later. Always a mature crowd. Drinks are affordable the whole day but happy hours are anytime before 4 or 5 in which everything goes up $1 after. It's a Harold's next door and skyway bowling across the street that has another restaurant inside if needed.“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. He makes us feel like we are always welcome. We highly recommend BJ's for a nice evening out I'd you are in the Oak Lawn area. joel/Roy“

“We went to Harry’s this past Saturday and had a great time. Mary and Ray took care of my wife and I and they were awesome! Made sure we were well taken care of even with the crowd they had. I’d definitely be back for the service and the food! The tacos and wings were delicious!“

“It's a small place with lots of big personalities. Dream is a great bar star and pours a mean drink. Prices are economical and you feel safe there. They scan everyone's ID which I think is a Posen requirement but I like it so if anything occurs, you know who was there. They have karaoke on Tuesdays and the owner has complimentary smoked wings and salad for patrons.“

“Excellent old school, warm, and fun Chicago restaurant, bar, and, if you need it, banquet hall. The bartender/server was very friendly, the delicious food was from scratch, and I had my favorite fried chicken in the city. My boyfriend had a delicious shrimp basket with massive shrimp. Lots of fried fish options, too. Great time!“

“This place has excellent and the band that plays there on Wednesday nights there are different singers that gets on stage to sing also with the band this band can just about play anything you want to come band starts at 7:00 p.m. there's food flooring you can bring your own bottles and there's no charge at the door“
