This review is more for off-hours at the bar. I know it can get crowded at times and a bit tight - but I usually stop in the afternoon or right around dinner, and bartender always is on point, and is always a comfortable place.
I went to grade school across the street 60 years ago and had one of my first legal beers at this landmark bar when I turned 21. I'm giving it 5 stars out of respect for longevity. This bar is actually older than me.

I really enjoy this historic tavern. The service is excellent and the patrons are very nice people too. The patio is nice to sit on outside or the yard that has plenty of seating for a lot of people. Also the have horseshoe pits free of charge or if the weather isn't cooperating there is shuffleboard inside Also free of charge.
