“I really enjoy this historic tavern. The service is excellent and the patrons are very nice people too. The patio is nice to sit on outside or the yard that has plenty of seating for a lot of people. Also the have horseshoe pits free of charge or if the weather isn't cooperating there is shuffleboard inside Also free of charge.“

“Great Food and Great Staff! What a find! The atmosphere is lively and friendly. The hostess happily greeted us and took us to a booth. The menu is large. I ordered a delicious martini and our server, Nick was friendly and attentive. We had a house sale that was delicious and the blue cheese dressing was the best ever! We both ordered the Tuscan penne pasta and Wow!! From my first bite, my tastebuds were jumping with joy! We will be back again and again! My new favorite restaurant!“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. “A great atmosphere and a very laid back that I believe is a hidden gem in the oak lawn town with very very fair beer and liquor prices and is great to watch NFL Chicago Bears and many other sports game and the owners often do lots of good things for the community and its customers espeically on the holidays like BBQ And other holiday dinners.....“
