“I cannot rave enough about Kinta Sushi. I have been a patron for over 15 years and no matter where I've moved around I'll make the drive to get there! Dining in is always a great experience. The most friendly staff I have ever encountered. The quality of sushi is always top tier and the price matches. Dining in is always comfortable and clean. Presentation is nice and a fair mix of traditional and modern twists. I also frequently pick up to go and they have never missed a thing in my orders. Not only that but they always label the containers which I appreciate so much. My go to order always includes the stuffed mushrooms. And I've always been a big fan of the green bay roll! Their sashimi always impresses me as well. I am just a very satisfied and happy long time customer and I will be as long as they are in operation.“
“First time trying this place and I would go back again. I ordered the seasoned fries. They were very crispy and tasty. The seasoning was a bit different. I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp sandwich with extra shrimp. Absolutely delicious. It was not spicy but well seasoned. The arugula on the sandwich was a nice e compliment to the overall taste profile.“
“After experiencing the new one in Munster, I was in oakbrook and decided to try their BibibopI'm glad to say that the food was just as excellent as the Munster location and shows that the chain is enforcing quality standards to keep all of their restaurants to that same high standard.“
“Love this place! The crispy green bean appetizer is our favorite. Veronika, our server, totally made our date night! She was very attentive and helpful! Her menu knowledge made it easy on choosing something different for dinner! Can’t wait to go back and try something new again! Thanks again to Veronika!“
“I had just left a review somewhere else about how I've never had a restaurant that served both ramen and sushi where the ramen was actually decent, but there's a first time for everything, right? The restaurant itself is quaint, but comfortable and has a nice ambience. I sat right in front of the sushi making area so I had a nice little show while I ate. The server was nice and took my order quickly and checked in on me enough.I had ordered both a miso ramen and a couple pieces of tamago nigiri. Funny enough, while my usual complaint is the ramen at a sushi restaurant, today it's more of a small complaint about the sushi! The sushi itself didn't taste bad at all. It was well-made, in fact. My only "complaint" was that the tamago was still very cold from the fridge, but still really tasty. It didn't affect my overall experience. The ramen was great and the presentation was really nice. I'm really fond of miso ramen in general and they made it really well here.Noodles: The noodles are thinner, springy, and chewy. They were pleasant to eat and tasted amazing. They had a nice neutral taste that went well with the broth.Broth: The broth was rich and savory and had a good miso flavor. It was served perfectly hot.Toppings: The pork tasted like it was marinated well and was nicely braised. The egg wasn't marinated in anything and was a plain soft boiled egg. The bamboo shoots also tasted good on their own. I also enjoyed the corn last in the broth. Everything worked well both separately and together.Overall, I was very pleased with Lili Sushi & Ramen! I'll definitely be coming back to enjoy the other bowls of ramen offered here!Vegetarian options: They have vegetable ramen“
“Had an amazing night! We had Key as our server and he was attentive, friendly, and even recommended the egg rolls (amazing choice, thank you so much they were delicious). We always have a wonderful time at this location. All the staff is friendly, the cooks love their job and them singing throughout the night kept us happy and in good spirits all night. <3“
“Absolutely incredible place to eat. The aesthetics, food, desert, and service are outstanding. Literally the only negative part of the experience was how cold the restaurant was.If I'm ever in the area again I'll surely be stopping by again.“
“Welcoming staff wiling to help first-timers. Clean and appealing dining area. Ordered the 20! Piece. Thai honey chili, Lemon pepper, salted egg and buffalo flavors. Fried rice, steamed white Rice, veggies and blue cheese. Each of these items exceeded expectations. We skipped the fries. Food quality superb. Fresh fresh fresh! Plenty for 4 people. Prices align with experience. We will be visiting often.“
“This is the best Thai restaurant in Chicagoland! The food is very authentic and delicious. My favorite dishes are the Crispy Catfish Curry, Beef Padseew, Thai Tea. All their dishes are delicious. They are packed everyday! #BestThaiFood #PeakThai #BestRestaurantLombard“
“We went there last night and got a take out order. I love Chinese food. This food is the best ! The staff is very friendly and polite . The food is so good that this is My go to restaurant when I’m in Elmhurst from now on. I am very delighted that we stopped in .“
“Stopped in with our 1 year old for sushi and everything was great!! Super fast service and family friendly. After leaving to get in our car, we found out that our car died, and the restaurant owner helped us jump our car! Above and beyond service. Thank you!“
“Great service, everyone was really nice. Fried chicken (half Soy Garlic/Half Spicy), Cole Slaw, Pickled Radish and Pork Buns were delicious. The only thing that disappointed us was the Bulgogi… tons of onions, not a lot of meat… the meat was also chewy, and the taste was just OK. I would definitely go back, but I wouldn’t order any Bulgogi as that was the worst Bulgogi I’ve ever had.“
“Forbidden noodles' primarily culinary focus is Japanese Ramen and stir fry selections. The curry is good and tastes very much like the mild golden ramen brand Japanese curry that I make at home occasionally. The chicken and broccoli added to the standard rice and carrot/potato curry mixture were of good quality. The Tonkotsu had very good pork, and surprisingly, it included broccoli as well. The more common ramen garnishes of onions, baby bock choy, egg, naruto (fish cake), and seaweed were also in this bowl and tasted good. They have a cheese, steak, and jalapeño egg roll that was amazing, and yes, you should try one. Forbidden Noodles is a great addition to downtown La Grange and for this area, this is a good choice for ramen in the area. If you are searching for your favorite bowl of ramen anywhere around chicagoland, feel free to check my reviews of alternate ramen restaurant options.“
“This place never fails to provide great food and a huge selection of choices. Their Dim Sum is one of the best in Chicago and means you don't have to go to Chinatown to get great Chinese food. Too many dishes to mention, but I'm sure you will be thrilled with any choice you make.“
“We went here for the first time expecting it to be a sushi place - but it's not. It's sit down Chinese - and very good too! Was a pleasant surprise! The Orange Chicken tastes like orange! The almond chicken was perfectly velveted. The lo mein was delicious and satisfying.Service was a little spotty. We had to remind them to take a drink order and they seemed a little confused when we did that. They seemed to forget about us at the end of the meal as well - sat there for a while waiting to get a check. The place was clean, cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Great for a date night. We are totally going back.“
“Best pad Thai I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the chicken Royal Pad Thai and chicken egg rolls. The noodles were cooked perfectly, it came hot in my delivery and was full of flavor. I got the medium spice and it was the perfect amount. Highly satisfied and will be ordering from again!“
“Went on a Wednesday night but it still was crazy busy - line out the door. This place is still fairly new so that’s understandable.Surprisingly most people were taking it to go and only a few sat in the restaurant and ate even though their seating area is pretty appealing including tables for large parties and nice private booths.Tasty and fresh food. I would recommend going with à la cart and getting the original bowl with lots of vegetable toppings and your choice of meat. Basically the same concept as Chipotle. The sauces I would recommend are:Yum Yum and Gochujang. They are even better when you get them both together on your dish.A bonus surprise you’ll find at this place:Free miso soup. They have a container of the soup sitting by the drinks with the sign saying that it’s complementary.Overall, we really enjoyed the food and our time there - since we did take advantage of the seating at one of the private booths ?.You will enjoy as well for sure. Try it ?“
“we to this restaurant for my birthday and the food was great we liked it because they have sushi and Asian and Thai dishes my grandsons were with and they also had a kids menu.My husband had chicken fried rice , I had double fried noodles that had a very good sauce and my daughter sushi that she said was also fresh and very good . I had a drink with dinner the waitress recommended that was a mangoitini that was great , the good was very good the service was really good and we liked the look of the restaurant.I would definitely be eating there again a lot of different dishes to choose from and nice atmosphere. We also had appetizers that was calamari and crab Rangoon the calamari was very tender and the kids and adults enjoyed tge crab Rangoon.“
“Our waiter, Paul, was fantastic! The food was great… even the items I personally didn’t care for it wasn’t due to how it was done, just that I don’t like that food. Not only good food, but it was fun as well… I definitely recommend.“
“I've visited Happy Lamb where I live in Houston, and the experience was the same. The quality of food was good. I'm just not a fan of the broth selections. I feel as though they're not flavorful enough. I frequent a restaurant here in Houston called Volcano Hot Pot, and their soup broth is insane! Idk if it's because it's Korean inspired or what. The service was great as well as the atmosphere. I would visit again if it's winter and I'm in town and want to hot pot.“
“Last Saturday was my first time at this restaurant and I want to say big S/O to the young lady who took my order I believe she told me her name was Shania. She made my first experience at teriyaki madness Awesome and was very patient with me seeing how I was so undecided on what to get . The food here is amazing.“
“My husband and I order from here often. Quality is great, everything is always fresh and delicious. Staff is always friendly. Poke bowl is soooo good. Don’t pass it up! Sushi Time is the only place we’ll order sushi from. We’re happy customers and we’ll be back again, and again, and again….“
“The counter staff was friendly and helpful. I have long enjoyed Korean cuisine and chose the Korean bbq with that in mind. The result was spot on with additional flavor notes that expanded the experience. I am looking forward to making this a regular stop on the rota of reliable favorites.“
“We had a good experience. I was with a party of 11. The food was very good and the portion sizes are large, borderline excessive in some cases. The service was good. They have a full bar and were able to accommodate all of our drink requests. Asian style cuisine, including sushi, noodle dishes, etc. With 11 people, alcohol and food the bill before tip was under $300, which wasn’t too bad considering the quality and quantity of food.“
“I've been going to Red Dragon for years. I first moved to Elmhurst back in 2009, and it quickly became my de facto Cantonese place. It's gone through a lot of changes over the years, but the current ownership/management is top notch. They treat my family like family every time we come in.The food is affordable and delicious and you can tell the people who are running that place care a great deal about it.Kid-friendliness: My kids absolutely adore Red Dragon. Not just because the food is delicious, but because the staff is always so kind to them when they come in. They have paper and crayons and have even displayed a drawing or two behind their counter.“
“The food was really great, huge portions for a good price. We did have to wait a while even though we had a reservation. It felt a little chaotic, but we did have 12 in our party, so probably that was the reason. They are super busy, give them a lot of credit handling so many in a small space. I do plan to go back, maybe takeout, though.“
