While chatting with a local about what we've experienced as first-timers in the Quad City, we mentioned how we tried a Maid Rite. With a grim look on his face, he said 'Why??' And I'm still confused to this day as to why he was so taken aback, because we enjoyed visiting the infamous diner after 100 recommendations on Pinterest! There are a few different locations that you can visit. They are very small and have that retro diner feel. And with that... it is pretty dirt cheap too!...read full review
We used to love going to the maid rite for breakfast. The waitresses Tina and Brandi were the main reason it was so enjoyable. Now we understand Brandi is no longer there. That is a real disappointment. If for some reason Tina leaves, us and our group of 8 will no longer be going to the Maid Rite. What can be done to get it back to what it was. I don’t know where the problem lies but maybe it is a management issue. ☹️
Stopped in and had a cheese-rite and drink. East Moline restaurant has varied hours, so I'm not able to get there as much as I would like. I was raised on maid rites. This is a midwest area fixture in food.
