I wouldn't recommend going in there with family or children or ordering anything off the menu.The day shift kitchen staff isn't good as they claim.The service is very slow and the food isn't all that great neither.There management isn't very friendly and unpleasant and racist as well.“

“Quick stop after Peoria Airport! Staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is good solid bar food. The tenderloin was tasty and HUGE. Beer was nice and cold!!! We will return to try other menu items when in the area as everything looked good.“

“I've always had a great time at MCL.One of my favorite places for years. Friendly staff especially Lisa Wiseman( manager)and Heidi. (Sorry, I forgot some of the others names as I've been living out of town for awhile but always stop in when in town and still always make me feel welcome.)All the bartenders are personable and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for drinks and food. Mel does a great job running kitchen and his specials are delicious. Highly recommend! Had my brother's celebration of life there and Lisa and her husband Troy were great and set up everything for me! The shelter is spacious and has a bar. Great place for all celebrations. They have a back patio you can watch the sunset from while enjoying a drink. Plenty of parking too. Highly recommend!“

“It sure hasn't changed much and I hadn't been there in 25 years. Not that it's a bad thing but if I remember correctly they had poker machines when it wasn't legal to payout on them and now that it's legal there's no one in Morton besides the Legion has a poker machine no where. Seems silly but what do I know. I'm just a player on these darn machines. I enjoy a good crowd, ice cold beer, a decent bar tender that can hold a half way intelligent conversation and the Office has all that. If you happen to be a good looking woman behind the bar, Even better. I tip real well unless you don't pay attention and then not so much. They do have a great outdoor seating section. Check it out and you won't be disappointed.“

“Drive past this place I don't know how many times and decided to finally try it. The food came out a little slow but it wasn't a big deal as I was busy watching the football games on all the tvs. This may be a new hangout spot for me for football season. The bartender/server was very quick with refills and making sure things were good. (I don't remember her name) I got the cheeseburger, and I also got an order of nachos with house made chips and the nachos were the best part, but it was very average. I recommend this place as the people are friendly, they got plenty of TVs for the games, decently priced food and just overall good vibes.“

“My husband and I decided to check out Whitey’s 29 for breakfast. The bloody Mary’s were fantastic. Rick enjoyed a spicy one and I had the original. He had the brisket skillet and I enjoyed the Hash-browns 29 with sausage gravy and two eggs over easy. Hash-browns were crispy, gravy had a great flavor and packed with a lot of sausage. The brisket skillet was a bit on the sweet side. We had excellent service and will be back!“

“My friends and I spent the morning geocaching in Jubilee SP. and were starving by the time we trekked 10+mi. We aren't from the area, and after a quick Google search, we made the out-of-the-way 5mi ride over. We were not disappointed. We had the coldest beer that we could remember with some fried pickle chips to start. I had the pork tenderloin that now 2 weeks later, I can still taste how good it was. Onion rings went perfectly with it. My geocaching buds each had burgers, and they both said they were delicious. This is exactly the small town bar experience we wanted, and it was more than we bargained for. We'll be back“

“Seen this place on FB and decided to give a try when we were over that way. Customer service was excellent! My husband ordered wings and I got a quesadilla( the chicken in it had some spice and it had tomatoes, onions and jalapeños in it) both were very good! My husband ordered boneless wing and they made a mistake and gave him bone in wings, he gave him those free and then brought him his boneless ones too and thanked him for his patience. Those wings (he had the blackened bbq wings) are fantastic!! They have a little bit of a char on them and some sauce almost like the sauce is baked into them..it’s not dripping with sauce so u can’t taste anything but sauce..which I hate. If I could describe the perfect wings..these would be it! Great place , great service and great bar food..we will be back!! ty Hammer’s!!“

“Although I have never been to this establishment I have met the owner in Prospect Ky on Veterans Day this year. I was picking up some groceries for my family at a local Kroger and was checking out and in front of me was a young man who was finishing up his order and saw that I was a retired military veteran from the hat I was wearing. He wish me a happy Veterans Day and thanked me for my service and in kind I thanked him for the recognition. He then spoke to cashier and hung around while I thought nothing of this until I went to pay and he said I got this for you! I was floored by this act of kindness but I said to him not necessary and that I would get the bill and he said absolutely not. “We came in with a large bunch (kids included) on St Patrick's day. They had a stand going upstairs as well. The staff upstairs were great about letting us hide our strollers and wagons away behind them while we went down for drinks and food. The staff was great and right on the ball with everything we needed! it was fantastic!“

“Enjoyed a nice supper at YBG this evening. It was my first time stopping in and I was very impressed. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. The waitress was very friendly and helpful navigating their menu. YBG offers a wide variety of flavors, apps, entrees, and beverages. I ordered The Club with a side of fries. I had to stop myself from eating it all in one sitting because it was THAT DELICIOUS! I also purchased a Strawberry Salad to go. The salad looks amazing! I know it’s going to taste even better. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommend YBG to all.“

“Crusens is a must whether you live here or just visiting. It's family owned and they have a great crew who knows what it means to take care of the customer. I have been going to Crusens for 30 plus years and it's changed a lot over the years and it's grown a lot. I've had date night there, company Christmas party there, boys night out, crashed a few girls night out no matter what it's a great time“
