“This has been my favorite Chinese place ever! I’m a huge fan of Chinese food and this restaurant has continued to provide the tastiest food and best portions of any Chinese restaurant near here! I recommend the orange chicken, peanut chicken, and crab Rangoon!!“

“I had green bean fried rice bowl, it was good, would get again. Chicken egg roll was ok. My husband liked beef & peppers which I tried, it was good. He got plate so his other 3 sides were chow mein noodles, fried rice & orange chicken. He liked it all plus his side of crab rangoon.“

“Best fried rice in the area with a lunch special that can't be beat. It's affordable and like any respectable chinese restaurant, they give you a lot of food. Like many restaurants, there are many things on the menu that are not outstanding, but the fried rice is very good. It's a little dingy, seemingly unclean, but let's be honest, these are the types of places that have the most flavorful food. With two brothers there to run the business every day with a rich history and a smile, this is a true hole-in-the-wall hidden gem.“

“I was traveling through and stopped for a meal as it had a good rating. I'm glad I stopped and I would stop again. The front counter lady was wonderful! Sweet, efficient and quick. The food was really good. A lot of people came in for take out orders as I was sitting there and no one else sat to eat on a Monday evening around 5:30 pm.

Cons: I'm not sure if their back room is under construction but both walls in the dining room had stacks of boxes with drinks and whatnot. The tables were not clean so I used a wet wipe. The napkin dispenser was visibly dusty... Really dusty. I went to use the restroom after I had eaten and it was gross. Not sure if it was dirty or just old and nasty looking. I took one look and walked out“

“I have order online and picked up food for just me but often a small group of friends this has become the go to spot for Chinese pick up ... it's always a good choice the pepper chicken is fantastic the fried rice and crab Rangoons are amazing

“I get take out from Express Wok a lot. The food is GOOD and the prices are not outrageous. I like their Garlic Chicken, their Beef Broccoli, and their Won Ton Soup. They are often open until 9pm which is good, too. They cook up food fresh. (Some places cook up food early in the day and just warm it up--which you can taste and it's not great!). The lady at the register is nice. I think she may be co-owner or part of a family ownership. The atmosphere is a bit standard with booths that have the plastic-y type curved benches, not padded benches, that's why I gave a 4/5 in that area. I really like this place.“

“The food there was amazing. I got to Honey Chicken and it is so good when i was full i was STILL trying to eat it. We got it to go and it was so easy to bring to the hotel we were staying at. They were so nice when we came and left. It was so clean and our food came fast. There were so many GREAT options to choose. We loved it there and will go again i recommend.“

“I have tried Chinese food at many of the local restaurants and have found this family run restaurant the best! They have a great variety and equally great prices esp. their lunch and dinner specials. Some favorites are the Hunan Chicken, General Tsao, and the egg rolls! They have an online ordering ap that works great! Not much room to eat in so I use for take out which is perfect for now.“

“Many of us locals have been supporting this business for a long time now and I believe the appreciation by the owner/s shows that with the low prices and superior food selection and quality all the way around. I especially like the vast variety of food choices and the hand dip ice cream station instead of the usual soft-serve that most places have. They were really thinking out of the box. Today I took my friend, Darryl out to eat at this Chinese buffet. He had never eaten such food and I figured it was time for him to escape from his comfort zone. He was very impressed and sure didn't step away from the table hungry. By the way the cherry on the cake was that they serve Mountain Dew. That is a must for Darryl wherever he dines. I had hot tea. “Tried this place for the first time today and was impressed with the cleanliness, speed of service, presentation of the food, and quality for the price. We ordered the dinner for 3: beef and broccoli (tasty), sweet/sour chicken (thicker batter than used to but delicious), and Kung Pao chicken (spicy for us but good), and chicken fried rice. It all came with 3 egg rolls and 3 large fried shrimp. Also got a checked with mixed veg combo plate with egg roll and 1 crab Rangoon. The egg rolls seemed better than other places...crisper, more stuffing, finer shredded cabbage). Very pleasant staff/servers also. Will definitely return!!“

“They gave me an extra scoop for having to wait 6 minutes for Beijing Beef. This is appreciated especially since I’m unemployed. I’ve been to Panda in Pekin three times now, everything is as it should be.

A month ago I was at a Panda in Bloomington on Market St. and I asked the lady to make me two plates as she would want them for herself. [I have trouble making up my mind. Also I hadn’t been there before]. She gave me an employee discount. Very nice lady. I came back later and gave her a tip. Very kind.

“My husband loves sashimi and this place offer one of the best. They have really good quality salmon sashimi. I'm a fan of Chinese food too, they have both Japanese and Chinese food and their Yang Zhou fried rice is the best we've tasted in the area. The tempura is great also. These place is truly amazing. “10/10 recommend. I went to them when I was around a teen into my early twenties. Food was good then, they fell off at times, but I wanted to give them another chance because the other food places in the mall either aren’t open or they cost too much. In total, I’ve been 3 times in 2 weeks. Bourbon chicken stays consistent, rice is as good as it was in the early 2000’s. Never had their Crab Rangoon and it was fresh and tasty. I’m going back of course, lol. Also, the lady, I believe she is the owner, is very nice.“
