My wife was looking for a tea room in the Peoria area. In her search, the Emerald Tea Room came up. It was conveniently located in East Peoria near a few antique shops. It is open from 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. All of the food is made in house. The soups were excellent, great sandwiches, bread and desserts. It is family owned. The service was delightful.
The food was excellent! The atmosphere was cozy, and all the patrons were super friendly. One regular even took the time to talk to me about some of her recommendations and proceeded to tell me what her family enjoys as well.It was my first time there, so it was much appreciated.
