“I got the fried catfish, it was so hard if I threw it at the wall it would have put a hole in it. The sweet potatoes were from a can, no nutmeg, just sweet, the mac and cheese had some bacon or something in it that was crunchy. Cabbage was mushy, fried chicken had no seasoning to it, the bake chicken was just wet. For $70.00, do not waste your money or time. A hard No!“

“My man wanted Mack's chicken, which is next door. I didn't want chicken. I get tired of it. I saw soul food Cafe and was hoping they were open. They were! I was happy with the choice change and we dined inside. Got the pork chop sandwich and he got the smothered pork chop dinner with Mac and Sweet potato. Everything was hot and delicious. And the Kool aid was good and cold.“

“Very cool spot!!! 1st time customer and will most definitely be coming back!!! The owner got me together and the food was amazing! Got the Munchie fries and a Crunchberry milkshake!!! Both were on point!!! I meant to leave a pic but it was to good to savor the flavor!!! You got a full time customer with me!!!“

“Wasn't our first choice. Fortunately for us a new discovery of fantastic cuisine so delicious I had to order an additional entree to take home. Turkey chops were excellent, the chicken and steak Philly , the salmon croquettes with all the sides all excellent. Will definitely be back.

“OMG! Rich Friends Kitchen came THROUGH for us!!! We had a last minute situation with the caterer for our event and needed to have brunch for 60 people in less than 48 hours. Chef AP was able to squeeze us in at the last minute, delivered the food on time, and it was DELICIOUS! I HIGHLY recommend!“

“The food quality was really good and flavorful. However, I ordered cabbage and yams but received mac and cheese and yams instead. It’s a small mistake, but something to be aware of. When ordering here, it’s a good idea to double-check your food before leaving. Overall, still a solid meal.“

“Hands down best food we had on our entire vacation! Fall-off-the-bone BBQ chicken, best friend catfish I think I've ever had, and OMG you have to try the baked beans!!!!! Fabulous, welcoming, friendly staff and environment. Highly recommend, and will definitely be stopping by every time we pass through St. Louis (we're from Texas, but travel a few times a year).“
