Sacred Grounds Cafe Reviews
First time in with my daughter and granddaughter and not only were they very patient and friendly with us, but they gave special attention to my grand baby. The girl working the front is absolutely amazing. She gave her a pad of paper and something to write with and let her put her drawing on the wall. Thank you for being so sweet and making her feel special!
I don’t even like coffee very much, but I’m going to start drinking it just so I can give Sacred Grounds my business. Kate is awesome, the atmosphere is rad, the art on the wall is cool, and you can tell that they care.
I’m so happy this place has weaved in and out of my existence for the past two and a half decades. The guitar is still there. The chess boards. The giant art.
And really cool employees who give extra muffins to hungry bike riders at close of day. Thanks for making a warm and inviting place all these years later, Sarah with an H (what else?)

The cafe caters to dietary restrictions, providing gluten-free toast and sandwiches. It is also known for its good coffee and a growing menu that includes decent baked goods and lots of vegetarian options. The cafe is often busy and lively, but the service remains prompt, and customers are eager to return. The new owners have maintained the high quality service and products, ensuring a positive experience for visitors. Customers appreciate the sweet and thoughtful staff, who go above and beyond to make special occasions memorable, such as celebrating a child's birthday with pink and green pancakes and sparkle whipped cream. The atmosphere is described as rad, and the art on the walls is cool, creating an enjoyable environment for customers. Located on the Main drag in downtown Edwardsville, the cafe is a great spot for coffee and brunch, especially when the weather is warm and iced drinks are preferred.
