“Awesome coffee shop with, seldom seen anywhere else, excellent customer service. We ordered a drink that wasn't on the menu. They excepted the challenge and nailed it. Awesome customer service! Especially the weekend crew. Our server Cheyenne was super friendly as well. Tip these people. And to management.. pay these people well and promote them all!!

“I want to compliment the young lady who made me a coffee this morning at The Human Bean on Keller in Effingham. I had my own metal thermos to avoid waste. She said she couldn’t bring my container in the building, even though she understood it would waste a cup to pour that into my thermos. She agreed we all need to rethink waste. But she came up with a great idea—pour the coffee into a large foaming vessel, add the cream, and pour that in the thermos. Excellent! Thank you! And, the coffee is delicious.“

“Loved the breakfast sandwich made with a buttery croissant, egg, bacon or sausage was delicious gonna have to order it everytime I come in now. Drinks are made to order and are so good! I recommend the ice mocha. Fresh donuts just make sure you come in early they sell fast!
