Cafe Zaytun Reviews
Great beet salad and chicken kabob! Can’t wait to try more items !
Great place, food is awesome and prices are very normal. We have gone back many times.
We have been here several times. I have not found anything I didn't like. I think everything, except the fries, is made in house. The tzatziki, Muhammara, the falafels, ect are perfect every time. The beef shawarma was a little dry this last time. It still tasted great. None of it is too overpowering. Seriously, if you haven't tried this place, what are you waiting for?

Cafe Zaytun is a hidden gem in Elgin, offering an extensive Mediterranean menu in a clean, relaxing, and aesthetic atmosphere. The spotless place features nice curtains, textures, and finishes, with great music and welcoming people. The food is delicious, fresh, and flavorful, with large portions and good presentation. Everything, except the fries, is made in house. The tzatziki, Muhammara, and falafels are perfect every time, and the beef shawarma, though a little dry, still tasted great. None of it is too overpowering. The pita bread and homemade hummus are a must-try. The friendly and helpful service makes guests feel like family. The staff is attentive, answering questions and taking good care of every need. The manager is refreshingly friendly and hospitable, going above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Whether for a unique dining experience, a lunch date, or catering, Cafe Zaytun comes through with the wins. It is a cool spot that leaves guests excited to return and sample the rest of the menu.
