Total hidden gem here in Elgin, Ive had just about everything on the menu over the years,. truly home made, never frozen stuff. some faves of mine are the bbq sandwiches, the various soups made fresh from scratch like the vidalia onion, chicken gumbo!, and broc cheese. my new fave is the bavarian ham sandwich on pretzel roll. fresh and delicious mix of mustards and ham and cheese. great staff, always fresh and well worth it, when looking for something different and home cooked...
High quality ingredients, well thought-out recipes and a general sense of fresh and wholesome food. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend you try because you'll quickly become a regular. Great staff as well!
I accidentally found this place when I needed a quick bite to eat. I ordered the turkey and cheddar sandwich. It came on a delicious pretzel roll and was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten!
