Received the wrong order, when call to let them know according to them we ordered the what the gave us. Per them they repeated the order back twice(not true). Because if so, it would have been corrected. Maybe they need to wrap your order in front of the customer. They did offer to replace the order but you all know that is not a good idea.

The burritos are good and the horchata was okay, not anything special. However, their salsa is amazing..specifically the red one. The red salsa is the reason I come back. The food is very expensive for what you get though. I had gotten 3 burritos with carne asada, 2 drinks…and the total was 35 dollars. Overall is a decent place.
I love elfaros but they need to cook fresh meat daily. Nothing worse than getting a burrito with old meat. Their rice and beans are the best in Elgin. I'm still rocking with them. It's in my blood just like the fox River.
Ok reason I said food was 2.5 stars was because of how inconsistant the burritos are thats all I order more than 10 times now. Everytime different servings past steak burrito I open it up to pour my hot sauce in I had to search for the meat by the time I pulled it all out I barley had a tacos worth. You will either get a good serving or less than a chipotle serving. 2nd thing is I never see the grill in use just the microwave and thsts just wrong!
