The burritos are good and the horchata was okay, not anything special. However, their salsa is amazing..specifically the red one. The red salsa is the reason I come back. The food is very expensive for what you get though. I had gotten 3 burritos with carne asada, 2 drinks…and the total was 35 dollars. Overall is a decent place.
I love elfaros but they need to cook fresh meat daily. Nothing worse than getting a burrito with old meat. Their rice and beans are the best in Elgin. I'm still rocking with them. It's in my blood just like the fox River.
Stop to check the place out before we head out back to Rockford il. order a torta de azada and some nachos de asas. Torta was really good10/10. Nachos also was good but could of been more nachos chips but what I like that they make every nacho chip fill with cheese and Carne. Over all really good . 9/10 . Also the horchata is really good 10/10 ??
