Moni catered my babyshower and the food was an absolute HIT with my friends and family!I’ve since moved outta Illinois, am expecting my 2nd child and wish so deeply that I could get my hands on some of those flautas, baked Mac and collard greens. Truly one of the best cooks ever, and most beautiful people that I’ve ever come to know.I miss you sooo much! ?❤️
From the Moment I walked up to her restaurant doors, I knew Ms. Moni was a Woman of Excellence! Beautiful, Peaceful atmosphere and ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL FOOD!! I felt like a proud Family member as she greeted us w/a lovely smile, ready to serve. The Chicken Wings/fries with “Moni Sauce” was FRESH & ON POINT! We don't deserve this place, honestly. Ms. Moni be cookin her behind off!! Every single thing I've tasted off the menu has been BUSSIN. I tend to be too nervous to try "soul food" restaurants because a lot of them just can't compare to the flavors soul food eaters grew up with. Don't tell nobody I said this but Moni's is lowkey better than ya grannys
