BEWARE!! Spend your money somewhere else. I love supporting small businesses but this place was overall the worse in every category. The prices are so high!! You have to pay extra for everything. No physical menus only a screen that moves way too fast that you can barely read what’s on it. The guy working there has a very bad attitude and not friendly at all. The quesadilla with steak was $15+. For that price I would expect to at least have it taste good - the meat was dry and tasted old/reheated. There’s no toilet paper or towels in the bathroom and the shop looks like it’s violating every health rule. OVERPRICED AND BAD QUALITY FOOD!

Look I know there are a lot of Mexican places in Elgin....so I don't say this lightly. Life. Changing. Quesadillas. Tacos were great too, but that quesadilla was something else, unbelievably tasty, and huge. Ask for all three salsas! Staff was also super nice and the place is cute!

Not one star from the worst thing you can see. I live near there. I recently went to pick up a meal I ordered and it turns out that the person who charged me didn't want my money, which according to me was fake ? something I would never do, and for finishing the meal was not as ordered

I had gotten there and ordered my food to go. I get home and my tortilla is all stale and dry. NASTY! I called the restaurant and the gentleman asked for the food back. Which I had mentioned that I did not live near by (unless he was going to pay for my gas then I would of happily taken it back)Very disappointed!Other restaurants would apologize and give the money back or at least half but this restaurant did not!Trash!If you are wanting to go here either eat your food there or just don’t order to go!

The Horchata was really good. The quesadilla was also good. The salsas were hot and had good flavor. bathrooms look horrible.
Ramiro’s is the place to go for giant, tasty quesadillas. We order ours extra crispy with a side of Mexican rice too. Raul is the best and always takes care of us when we show up or place to go order over the phone. Don’t be fooled by the looks or the inside setting. It may not be a fancy place, but the food is amazing! We also recommend the rings de pollo tacos and torta cubana. Plenty of parking. Prices are fair as well.

Been seeing this place and wondered about it. I liked the feel of the place. It felt authentic. It took a long time to get my steak burrito and I only get 30 lunch lol so I was starting to sweat. I finally got my food and made a mad dash to get back to work. I don't think you could make a worse burrito if you tried. I could not finish it and it was not cheap. Swing and a miss for me.

I got a very what do you want attitude?I was like ok………anyways the menu is on a TV screen & switches too fast.So I just went with al pastor. Then I also bought some Jello, which was highly overpriced.Mom said the tacos were ok. I won’t be back.
