Ppl are nice they are abiding by all covid guidelines. But place was empty food took a long Margarita was great. Bacon covered plantains were amazing. Other things were meh. Chicken was very dry.

First time eating out since Covid started and did not regret this choice. Hardly any one was there, we sat outside on a small patio but there was no issue being too close to anyone. The waitress, Daisy, was great! She wore a mask the whole time, had wiped down the menus before handing them out, and was very attentive. The food was delicious and the amount of food was sufficient. Had a great margarita and lots of fun. Please support this business, it's worth the visit! They do carry out too.

My wife and I were seeking a more local Mexican restaurant with more menu options so we gave Casa Rubios a a shot tonight since they have an expansive menu and really we are glad we did! The steak chimichanga was great and the skirt steak with fried avocado was also excellent. The basic beans and rice, were more than basic, very flavorful. We are happy we found this place and no longer have to drive to Elgin when we want quality Mexican food! Very happy you are in Huntley! Also, the woman who took our order and brought the food to our car provided excellent service! We’ll be back soon!

Since this was our first time trying Rubio's, 3 of us shared several items, agreeing we would all have a small taste of each. Nacho Appetizer--3/3 agreed these were DELICIOUS!! We added ground beef, which was perfect, The toppings were plentiful, and although I did ask for no cilantro and tomatoes on the side, there were tomatoes mixed in the nacho's. However--I must say the tortilla chips were fantastic, and all agreed we'd order these again. Steak quesadilla--only 1 out of 3 liked it. The quesadilla was good sized, but so was the cost. The cheese did not taste like any of the normal mexican cheeses you would expect on a quesadilla, but more like a cheddar/white american cheese mix. There were 4 pieces, but we had leftovers. Taco's--we ordered one carnitas and one beef. When I wasn't asked if we wanted them mexican style, or american, I assumed they would just come mexican, with onions and cilantro. Nope---just plain meat and the tortilla wrap. The carnitas was ok--the steak was good, but each of us only took a single bite of each, and we left some of each. Suadero trio street taco's--0/3 liked them. These sounded awesome, but were so disappointing--so bland and tasteless. The tortillas they were in were so greasy that 1 person only ate a single bite, and no one finished theirs. Steak Chimichanga--2/3 liked this, but only 1 would order it again.

I went here for the first time and the foid was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend coming here rather than driving all fhe way down rt 47. They have really good burritos and tacos. The entire staff was so helpful and kind, one is abls to tell the family enviroment.

The owners are very nice. I really want this restaurant to be a success...but, food quality suffers. I think they serve the best salsa of all Mexican restaurants in the area. The chip were small and had a taste of being overdone. The guacamole is good, but very small serving size. We had grilled chicken with mole sauce and an array of tacos. Chicken was dry. Sauce was a little sweet. Tacos were OK. Service was reasonable. Margaritas are good.

We stopped here on a fluke coming back from the Dells...everything was AMAZING! The Horchata is probably the best I’ve ever had and OMG their chips were perfection! Every single meal was so YUMMY! GO HERE! I wish it was closer to our home!

My husband and I love this place! The cozy bar with a roaring fire is a great place to enjoy delicious food. Great burritos and tacos. The salsa is fresh and homemade tasting every time. The margaritas are tasty and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. We have ordered take out too and it was great too!

Took my family here for my nephew's 11th birthday. The service was top notch and everyone liked their meal. I had the steak torta which was exactly how I like it and large enough to share. They brought out a complimentary ice cream dessert with churros for us to share and sang Happy Birthday which was a nice touch.
