My husband and I gave this place another chance. Why is there an actual child working there? She’s about 8 we were not

I just wanted to take a minute to say that Sandra from this location is the absolute best. I had an issue with one of my orders on my end. It was my fault, but she made accommodations for me and was very sweet about it. I wish I ran into more people in the food industry like her someone willing to help. She truly made my day.

I have tried the original location in Melrose Park and I would get a cheese burger with grilled onions with a side of chili. I haven't been in years and had a taste for some Harlos, the Elmhurst location is closer to me so I went and ordered a cheese burger with grilled onions and a side of chili, was excited to get home and eat. I was a little disappointed that it just didn't taste like the original location, the chili was also not the same. The patties seemed different, thicker than what I remember, no seasoning on the patties and just wasn't what I was expecting. The chili was really thick almost like a paste and wasn't as warm as I would have liked it, almost like it was from a can. The server was very friendly and service was fast, the prices are fair, I spent 10 dollars for my meal. I will have to take a little longer drive and go to the original location to get my cheese burger and chili next time.

Stopped in for the first time to try there breakfast out, but when I stepped inside the place a lady told me the waitress and chef did not show up, not a good first impression. Why wasn't the manager or owner called in ? ? ?.

I want to like them, I really do! I tried carryout for a second time. The first time I ordered breakfast. I live/work 10 minutes away. The wait was so long then when I got home I had to throw it all in the Microwave to heat it up. I figured with it taking so long things should be piping hot or at least hot by the time I got home but chucked it up to being breakfast items and they can cool off pretty fast. So I know to only order breakfast if I'm dining in. So I thought...I ordered two cheeseburgers both the same for myself and a co-worker. She got fries and I ordered a very sad looking side of hashbrowns. Waited 30 minutes for it. Again thinking items would be hot and they were not at all. Luke warm at best. The hashbrowns tasted like they threw them from an uneaten plate (I'm sure they didn't but that's what it resembled), cold, as was the fries. Again. It's a 10 minute drive at best. I understand it won't be piping hot like it should since it took so long but at least hottish! With this last one, I don't even know if I want to go back to dine in. It wasn't that crowed. Insane! I will not be back. I'm giving 2 stars because the waitress was nice. So much promise but something has to give with the food temp, especially with waiting so long.

I ordered a grilled ham, egg and cheese sandwich. The egg was fried so hard that we could not eat it, It should have been scrambled, but that's another story. I literally had a baby serving of hashbrown. It's a little overpriced and not good. I will not be

I've been eating Harlow burgers since I was a teenager and I'm gonna be 60 this week. It just so happens. They open the second one in Elmhurst and if that wasn't good enough, they added a restaurant from my childhood called the chicken bowl. Chicken bowl was a broasted chicken Restaurant inside Winston Park Plaza. I went there for lunch today and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the chicken was cooked to perfection and I must say the pieces were huge. Now I have one place to go to when I want a greasy cheeseburger or broasted chicken. Thank you for combining both restaurants from my childhood.
