Sushi is no longer served here which surprised me but instead I chose a teriyaki shrimp lunch meal which was excellent. I also LOVED the golden shrimp and will be back for that!!! My food was hot with decent portions, and the lemonade tasted freshly-made and tart. I think she may have used pure ingredients as I watched her make a pitcher at the bar area. Kan Ya in Elmhurst is hands down one of my favorite spots! I order from them at least once a week, and it never disappoints. Their spicy umami miso soup is incredible—rich, flavorful, and the perfect comfort food. Everything is always fresh and packed with care. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the quality is consistently top-notch. If you’re craving something delicious and satisfying, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!
Been going there for 3 years now and each time it is always a wonderful experience! The staff is friendly, the food is amazing and best of all I took my 11 month old there and she had a blast too!
