Tried to get a pizza on a Saturday night at 9:30. Person answering the phone mumbled a lot, was trying to confirm we knew what store we were calling and repeated that point. The pizza wasn’t worth it. It really wasn’t. The salad was actually not bad.
We catered my son's wedding rehearsal dinner through Mama Mia's and the entire experience was fantastic. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding and the pizza we ordered was one of the best I've ever had.
Overall I really want to love Mama Maria’s but I just can’t. We’ve been ordering from them consistently for about 3 years. What is inconsistent is their food quality and politeness of their staff. Sometimes the pizza is perfect. Usually it’s too cheesy or underdone or too saucy. It’s like they aren’t measuring ingredients. We have called to provide feedback on occasion (as their printed menu invites) and not once have we been offered anything to make it right - even...
