I like coming to Clubhouse because I can work on my speech, reading, and abilty to focus. When I started I could not focus to read a paragraph now I can read a few pages! I even call other members to make sure my friends are coming on days I'm there! I like Synapse House!
I love baking there. I have to follow directions for baking and have to be precise when measuring ingredients. I feel useful contributing to the Flour to Empower organization. Also my computer skills are very valued and that makes me feel good!
I actually go there and it is a great place to help build your skills after a stroke or brain injury staff are really helpful and treat you with respect. I'd encourage anyone who has a brain injury to go here.
