“Very cozy atmosphere. The DJ present was an amazing dude! He looks young, but I heard he's over 60. He sure knows the best songs, but is willing to play custom requests. The staff as Hunters has been so friendly and accommodating that I felt like being around family. Wonderful people, wonderful place and I can't wait to go back there again. You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere, have a couple of drinks and dance the night away to 80s and 90s disco. The best!“

The food is delicious, the decor is artsy and beautiful, and the owners are absolute gems. my family and I went for the first time yesterday and had the BEST time. we came for some quick pierogi but stayed for the ambiance, warm welcome, and fantastic conversation with the owners. This cafe is charming beyond belief and we will definitely be back. This is the perfect place to stop in with some friends or loved ones when you are out and about in the neighborhood. “$$: 2 ppl for about $50 Food: As a first time visitor, of course have to try the polish food assortment and traditional sour soup. It turns out not bad. I like the pork chop and cabbage roll. The pork chop tastes like tonkatsu, crispy and light breaded. Sour soup well solved my nauseous from long drive. Service: they only have 1 server, so kind of slow, and you have to ask for the bread and water, otherwise she might assume you don't need it... Ambiance: small and cozy, nice place to grab a quick lunch.“

“Reminded me of my gramma’s Eastern European home cooking: delicious beet soup, goat cheese & beet salad, veal meatballs, mashed potatoes and apple kuka (strudel-like cake)! Although people rave about the beef stroganoff, the beef was dry & stringy and I had to add a lot of salt & pepper. Also, the cabbage rolls had tasty tomato sauce and lots of meat & rice but just a wafer-thin cabbage wrapping.“

“We were told about this place when my wife lamented the closure of a few good Czech restaurants (Czech plaza, and Bohemian Crystal) to a Czech lady who was trick or treating with her child in our neighborhood. She recommended this place and we've now gone numerous times.I've had the privilege of eating beef goulash in Prague over the years and this restaurant is about as close to the quality you get over in Europe you can get.The food, the service and the atmosphere are phenomenal. We will keep coming back and will bring friends and family with so they can experience the high quality food and service here.“

“Absolutely love this place. The service is way beyond great. The food is excellent. The Mushroom soup we had was outstanding. It was one of the best soups I've ever had.Everything we tried was great, from the beets with horseradish to the Barley sausage, Polish ham, pierogi's, goulash, dumplings, blintzes and apple fritters.I just wish this place was in Milwaukee so I could go there more often.“

“Fantastic food with large servings for a great price!The atmosphere is not anything special, but i did find the place very cold temperature wise.Service was good but they could of used more staff. To be fair it was fat Tuesday when I dined there but there was one person working that we could see (maybe more in the kitchen) and poor lady had a line of take out and a full restaurant to take care of!Would recommend and plan on going back :)“

“I stopped by the area to try a cafe next door to this place, but that cafe wasn’t open on time so I checked this place out instead. I am so glad I ended up here. The food was absolutely delicious and very filling. I tried the golabki with a side of mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. I can’t wait to come back to try more dishes!“

“My Uncle was here from Texas. He said it was THE BEST polish food he has ever had.My sister and I both completely enjoyed everything. I am the one who loves all the not so widely loved foods, the beets, pickled herring, pickled onions. So the fact that they even have those things are a plus for me.The polish style chicken soup was amazing! Iykyk about polish chicken soup! They only keep a couple of pierogi on the buffet, but you can order whatever kind you like and how many you would like included with the buffet.We did dine in but we also took carry out for my nephew and to bring home. The takeout prices are exceptionally well priced.The service was buffet service, not bad but nothing exceptional. It didn’t matter we were there to enjoy the food and the company of family. Overall a very very enjoyable meal and experience.“

“Wonderful restaurant and bar. They serve authentic Polish dishes. The atmosphere makes you feel like you have been transported to Poland. The servers wear authentic Polish clothing and speak Polish as well. The service was fast and efficient. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the European plate- grilled kielbasa, perogies topped with bacon, saurkraut, and potato pancake. They offer chicken tenders and fries for kids. They have a lovely libations list. “This is honestly one of my favorite restaurants in the Midway Airport area. Hands down best polish food in the area also. Me and my family usually come in Fridays for lunch and we are never disappointed. Whoever the cook is on Fridays is incredible. The waitress is always kind and helpful:)“
